I so wish someone had audio of Celine singing Diamonds Are Forever. I still don't know why they cut it from the show,right before opening night. I think it would have sounded amazing. Those few people that got to hear it in rehearsals are so lucky. :down:

out of all the Bond songs that would have been worth it. What a pity she/they cut it...

Me too. I love this song, when I knew that Céline was going to sing it, I looked for Shirley Shirley Bassey's and I fell in love with it, it's a sensual and provocative song, better than 'Nobody Does It Better'. I will never understand some of the decisions of Céline and her team.

You mean the white Balmain mini? I can see what you mean... But I kinda like the outfit. She pulled it off, the mini, but she's the only 40 (she was @ the time) year old I know that could've!

After doing some investigating, I have found there is a total of 19 videos not available to watch in the U.S. via Celine's YouTube/VEVO accounts. I sent a message off to TeamCeline. Hopefully they will get them released.

Im think this was the first live performance of MHWGO, I'm not sure, can someone here help to find it out?

 

And YES!! Crystal clear voice, superb high notes... The band seems to be not comfortable with the song yet, lol

But her voice was amaaaazing!

The penny whistle player was a bit 😯 lol but the live band and live backing vocals makes such a huge difference! Not to mention Celine - wow!😀

Those 4 performances above, along with the divas live one are my favorite of the song.

 

It's possible if the unicef gala wasn't the first then I think it was the Rosie O'Donnell performance. Also a very very good one

This just perfectly shows how good these times were! I really miss it!

 

Look at her joy, liveliness and general attitude! Also, the promotion.... it was undeniably one of the best ever. She performed either live or playback 13!!! out of 17 songs from the new album. It hadn't been done before and even since! I'm even shocked to see that she indeed performed The Greatest Reward!!! I'm really really shocked! (praying for it to be included in the show!!!)

 

I wish we would know how Celine imagined A new day... inspired mostly by ANDHC... it could have been amazing! I'm sure she would include ANDHC right from the beginning and would include TD and WTWOLYR.

 

Very good video. I missed a few performances but there were so many at the time that I understand why you have chosen only some... I'm also intrigued as I've been following every Celine's step just since ANDHC and I haven't seen the French interview you included in your video... Maybe it's because I didn't speak French back then but if you could post it, I'd love to watch it! I haven't known that GTSW was supposed to be recorded for All the way! :w00t: And the NB performance, where is this from?

That's been my wish since TCOML. A one off show where she sings the whole album from start to finish live. I frigging wish! 😆
