Celine's official Vevo/YouTube account just uploaded an "audio video" for her song "Mélanie." (Of course they screwed up again and made it unavailable in the United States, though.) Talk about RANDOM! I wonder if this song is currently being considered for her return?

This is what happens when Céline gets out of her confort zone. She performed this song at the 1999 Juno Awards as a tribute to Luc Plamondon. Hadn't sung it since 1995. To me, this is definitely one of the best performances of her career, even though she messed a note.

Her voice is so powerful in this one! She hit these notes with ease, you can tell she had ease singing the song by the way she is moving throughout the performance...

To me, each of her major performances of this song had something special. In 1991 it was the ending, in 1995 she stage presence, and in this one she had this raw power!

Yes, they said that Karine died on May 2, 1993, so it's the 22nd anniversary of her death, which must be why they posted today. So sad. . she would have been 38 by now.

They are clearly playing a joke on her, it looks hysterical but it's in french would anyone care to translate? There is an English part where a woman goes into her dressing room (or trailer I should say) and shares her love for Celine. LMAO I have never seen céline so uninterested in my life. She's like yeah uh huh, you love me do you? Well that's nice. I get you love me but I'm doing my hair, so can you go away? Lol

It's kind of funny to see Celine act that way to a "fan", but given the fact that this lady was borderline syco, Celine was pretty nice to her. Any other celebrity would have had that lady thrown out of there trailer. I mean the woman just walked right into Celine's private trailer acting like it was the most normal thing in the world or something. LOL.

Celine just went about what she was doing and didn't even react at all to a strange lady walking into her private trailer. If it were me I would be like Ah, what are you doing hear this is my trailer? Celine is a true class act through and through! :wub:

I don't know what was said in this video either. I would very much appreciate it if someone could translate the French parts!

Thanks for posting this!!! I'm kinda sad at the drop in energy during the Bryan Adams segment :-( But other than that, I LOVE this show.

I am not sure if you received my above message regarding the recent "Mélanie" video uploaded to Céline's YouTube/Vevo account. The video is not available to view in America. Furthermore, after speaking with fans around the world, there are many, many countries which are not able to view the video either. Many in Europe.

This seems to be an ongoing problem when a new video is uploaded to Céline's YouTube/Vevo channels. Furthermore, it appears to be an ongoing problem only from artists on the Sony record label. The same problem has happened to Gloria Estefan's "Out Of Nowhere" music video. I never see this type of issue happen with other artists on other record labels. Whomever is in charge of uploading videos to YouTube/Vevo for Celine, Gloria, etc. needs to be retrained on the procedures for uploading videos -- badly. I can understand an accident happening once, but when it happens numerous times, I, and many others, find it inexcusable.

Please rectify this problem. And by "problem," I do not mean just the video. I also mean the procedures for uploading videos in the future.
