I see where you're coming from, and MHWGO certainly helped drive sales of both the Titanic soundtrack and LTAL, but I think the soundrtrack was more than MHWGO. Titanic was a cultural phenomenon in '97-'98, and it was more than just the song. The soundtrack is a beautiful, beautiful orchestral album -- and it (the whole album) was so successful that they even released a second single at the time -- Southhampton, an entirely instrumental track. The radio stations were mixing it with movie dialogue -- and I distinctly recall the DJ's on either Z100 or WPLJ (two huge NYC stations) laughing at it and calling James Horner "James Horny" -- but, still, they were playing it. An entirely instrumental, classical piece was being played on the biggest Top 40 radio station in New York City. That's how big it was, and it was more than Celine. It also made Enya (the soothing voice on the other tracks) quite well known.

However, you were not totally off base with Enya!! James Cameron had originally intended Enya to compose the entire soundtrack to the movie. He actually used Enya's music as the soundtrack in a rough edit of the film, and she ended up declining the project. That's when Cameron went to James Horner. They had bad blood from another movie they had worked on together years prior, but he overlooked that as James Horner had also done the soundtrack for the Oscar winning film "Braveheart."

I actually think tank dresses are better than what she could easily put on back in the day. Like the golden suit from the FIY tour. Or the other not so good latex costume she used during her D'eux tour. Or all the other suits which created looks pretty much... Weird, I'd say. Unflattering. They also liked to combine it with the wierd hair styles quite often And i have no intention to insult Celine or her sence of style but seriously - smts it seems like back in the day they wanted to makes sure everybody would think she's in her 50s or 60s
