I understand the need for playback while making a video or taping for television, but it really makes me sad to think that Celine lips so much. It feels to me almost like a lie or trickery. I know...everybody lips...it doesn't make a difference. Watching a great performance is fun, but it doesn't make me feel better about the lipping. I prefer authenticity, even with flaws. Also, I don't understand why she takes such great pains to have a vocal coach, train everyday, practice before every show if she is truly just using playback. Doesn't make sense.

I agree with you, but I believe she is just resting on her fame, she said so herself, she has nothing to prove anymore and even though she loves singing and the fans and blah blah blah, she is more interested in being a mother and wife, that why she doesn't practice everyday like she used to, remember the days when she not talk at all because she needed to save her power-cords!? well, that is not the case anymore, she can't wait to get out the Caesar's Palace to her kids, which is 100% understandable, that's why we cannot expected 1997 Celine Dion these days, even when that's all she choose to sing lately. She/they it's not even interested in her career after 1999.

Knowing all this fact and accepting the situation makes actually understand what she does and why she does it. She's been always an open book and regardless of lip-syncing or not I still like her, she doesn't have those power-cords anymore but she still sings pretty damn good, I don't know if they should be charging that amount of money for a concert that is half lip-synced but if you all are willing to pay (I do!) then go ahead, I ready don't mind the lip-syncing, for some it is irritating and a disgrace.

You are right. For me it is irritating and a disgrace for someone who is advertised for her voice. I still love her. I believe her to be a genuine person and very likeable. I like the person she has shown herself to be over the years....still disappointed about the lip-syncing! haha. :)

Celine sings better than ever. Her low and middle notes have improved greatly and her belting notes are wide, resonant, chesty unlike FIY tour in which belts were strained, thin, too pitched and nasal. Head voice is also way better than before.

All notes are live and this was made before her 29th December '12 performances. So, get used to Celine's beautiful and mature voice and get over pitched and strained notes from 90's and nasal ones from A New Day... and TCWT (even though TCWT has fantastic notes too)

not all were pitched or strained in 90's however. There are lots of great notes in 90's too, but people always overrate ABM F5 at Memphis for ex. yet they underrate FA and ABM (ending note) F5s from '08 ownards for example. It's annoying

Celine is what she is today because of the 90's. If she didn't have this voice and career in the 90s and started with her voice of today, she'd be a no-one. I don't recall people saying she's the best voice ever nowadays.

Her voice in the 90's was just perfect. It was out of this world. It had quality during a whole song, it had that special sound of "one pure note at one time". This video is really good, but it's just one note taken off a song and which is often shouted without good control. It's still good of course, but she's no more a musician of her voice. I get the feeling she now often takes shortcuts to hit the notes, which result in bad control. And I'm sorry, but the technology today really helps her in giving the impression of great resonance. Before, she was going with her whole voice and her belts were awesome.

@Neddo. I don't like her F5 in ABM-Memphis either. But the one at Montreal is just the best note ever. And the ending notes of ABM after 08 are just awful and shouted without good control. I, even as a guy, can shout high notes. Doesn't mean I'm a good singer.

Celine should sing her french material more often ro showcase her full voice. And no, Celine never shouts, sorry. Celine can change notes better than ever. Ne ME Quitte Pas showcases Celine's emotion too. Always Celine succeds ALWAYS SHe never did that before. Please find me a video were Celine shouts.

Love it! But she must have been cold! Everyone else in the video is wearing a jacket! She didn't even have fully long sleeves!

Just came across some videos of the concert Celine gave in Mexico City in 2008. I'm pretty sure she sang My Heart Will Go On live, but what's remarkable is the emotion with which she sings it, she's almost crying!! What an audience we were haha!!! Hopefully she comes here again and to many other countries where people really want to see her. Anyways, enjoy!

That's inaccurate. She doesn't lip half of the concert. Only 28%.
