I'm sorry but the 'Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah" is definitely taken from the album. At 2'57, she opens her mouth and nothing comes from it (and no it's not video syncing problem).

The theory is only about when the lip-sync comes in.

 

But guys, come on, the actual notes (like the shorter, non-suspended ones) are different from the studio tracks, aren't they?

I think it's fake, but I can't remember what the general consensus was on this forum when it was first uploaded...

A lot of sad, obsessive fans with too much time on their hands seem to make these videos because they know very well that Celine lipsyncs but don't want to admit it, and so try to convince more casual fans and the general public that Celine does in fact sing these songs live...

I have come across a lot of these "Soundchecks", mainly TLYM and now I know that they are fake. I won't be fooled again. Thanks Timster :clap:

It is fake. Shortly after the original uploader posted that video he posted that it was fake. He had a series of other fake videos as well so it's no surprise.

We actually hear her singing this.. that is not fake.

Me too, but the David Foster concert, with the "Lost is how i'm feeling" part included. On my ipod constantly!

 

Actually, a lot of people were asking if Celine made up that part because she got lost performing the song. I also love it. :wub:

The vocals are partially real, but the uploader manipulated them when posting. For an example, I could take Celine's real live high note from All By Myself from the Tonight Show, and manipulate it to be another six seconds longer if I wanted too, by extracting the audio and cutting and pasting pieces to be longer... now personally I have better things to do with my day than that kinda crap, but not everyone does, hence why we have many crap videos claiming certain things are live when in fact are not.

Don't even play this game: you did not hear that, sorry. It's fake because Celine didn't sing it. The high note was added in the end and was even modified by computer to get that high. But you completely have the right to like it (I for example just love the Chipmunk version of MHWGO XD).

This is beautiful! And I LOVE the long blue dress at the end - she looks so gorgeous! I especially loved the part showing Celine and Rene during the recording of On S'est Aime A Cause . . they are so sweet together. And such a gorgeous song!

Well, a game you say.. I am honestly interested to know -for sure, not just on the basis of someone's opinion- if this was mixed and shared to fool YouTube audiences.

Saying - like in previous posts- that every fragment can be mixed/created using software is just gratuitous imo, for this would implement that every live performance could be equally fake, in other words: there would be no ground to recognize any so-called live performance as authentic.

I also think we have to be careful, because this could generate permanent paranoid towards performances... like previously towards the The Reason performance on the Lottery (discussed last week).

Is there any 'space' or possibility for Celine left to marvel us then?... Without wanting to sound naive, not wanting to become cynical.

 

So, to pose my sincere :) question again: how exactly do we know that the IACBTMN performance, or others alluded to during this discussion- are mixes?

If only someone could explain convincingly.

For me if it's not plain to see it's lypshinch i would consider it live and enjoy the show. Don't wanna over think about that.

Wow!!! These videos are so rare. I had no idea Celine performed ''L'amour Existe Encore'' on the French TV Show Vivement Dimanche back in 1993.
