Does she knows that this forum exists? Maybe it's time to know what her fans were thinking about her. The songs that they we like to hear her sing Live!

Sorry to to keep beating a dead horse here but now that we know Sia wrote her three songs please, please, please Celine sound like yourself.

 

I only listen four songs on LMBTL now. I use to love WAAF but I can't take the "dry" vocals, or whatever she was calling it, anymore. (I skip to the bridge only because the bridge it is fricken amazing :wub: )

I hope that she does too!!! I love that sia writes her songs but I hope that she makes them hers. I feel like she will when she said "her creativity (of writing) is freaking me out." I think she's probably really into them. I'm just so curious what this will entail.

I think Celine should choose more fans to interview her (and with gay men she can't go wrong haha) and not some random journalist with boring questions who needs to do a Wikipedia search on Celine before the interview. I want more music talk and music related questions: Futur music and her unknown past music stories that only fans can ask.

 

That being said! Celine, you can PM me and ill gladly interview you.

Hahaha yeah!!! this would be a scary place for her!

 

 

Oh and I love that RC is listening to some of the Demos she's receiving and giving her advice. I hope that it means the new album will sound young and have more upbeat music.

I'm not impressed by the headline they used in The Sun- she talked to a portrait of her dead husband and it spoke back to her - they're taking the piss

I'm glad that there will be 3 Sia's songs. Their collaboration can go deeper than just a track as on LMBTL ( just like Max Martin could show more different sides on OH).

 

But I need to know more about those songs: did Céline's team ask for them or are they from Sia's initiative? TC asked Ne-Yo more songs and well...

 

I don't want Sia to give her just leftovers or songs that were lying in her drawer ( just as LMBTL was...) . LMBTL was a good song but I hope Sia really wrote the songs thinking of Céline.

 

But well, the strengh of LMBTL was its time of release: before Sia was really really famous! So the build-up of the song was not so common...but since then Sia released tons of songs like this and her formula is getting boring. They are just copy/paste. People are beginnning to really get tired of it.

 

So I think it can be very challenging for Sia and Céline, not to repeat what Sia is doing.

 

I hope there will be a deep and haunting Sia's ballad though

Sia said last summer/fall that she would love to write a song for Céline but didn't have time to do that because she was touring at the time.

So at that time it looks like she didn't have any songs for Céline.

I can't wait to see what Sia did for Céline. I hope at least one of the song will be ready for the tour this summer

I think the demo version of LMBTL by Sia compared with Celine's are totally different.

Also... The great think about this interview is that Celine looks really focused on new material, new sound, new artists, etc.

There was a time when she said that she didn't listen to other artists that much. Now she even uses her laptop to find new music from her favorites! :thumbsup2:

Indeed! I had to listen again to Sia's version and it's very weird because actually that's Sia who imitated Céline. :w00t:

 

I mean listen to Sia singing the verses in LMBTL : it's clean while Céline sings it with a raspy voice...

 

6 months after LMBTL was released , Sia released "Chandelier" and the way she sings the verses is like Céline's... ^_^

I can't believe she admitted to listening to Bieber. Pavarotti, Streisand, Bocelli, BeeGees, Carole King...and Bieber. I hope she doesn't try to 'be' something with this next album. I want it to be golden. Not try-hard.

I am not a Bieber fan but some of his songs I do like. I saw him once at a concert and omg I was soooooo bored. I thought he was terrible! And he can't lip sync at all! he doesn't even try to fake it. But still think some of his songs are good

We all listened to Bieber involuntarely/not :) goes well with the house cleaning :D ; maybe She just threw it out there, as a sign of current music knowledge; besides, better have his fans on her side, as those teenies can be overprotective:).

Hope you are not still disappointed and playing some Britney tracks ;)

I'm happy with the news. Love Sia myself.

So I guess what I'm saying is I hope they don't do anything to her voice so she doesn't have that "raw, grainy, raspy" sound. :)

I believe that I may have voiced this suggestion in the past, but I'll say it again. I'd love for her to do a duet with Eros Ramazzotti. I love the songs he did with these ladies. I also find him to be super sexy.
