Do you guys are ready for another couple of years with another Celinish Adele fever, if that was the collaboration? Because I'm not sure I can handle another album promotion revolving around Adele anymore :unsure: Not that I don't like her, but I think that fangirling chapter was closed... :wacko:

Great news about new Sia songs! I love LMBTL (though it’s a little repetitive), I hope for something bombastic like Chandelier, but only with Celine’s voice.

Can we make a petition, so she is forbidden to use her bedroom voice for the new album? :w00t:

Apparently it wasn’t :innocent: in this interview Celine invited Adele to sing with her anytime, anywhere. But I’m not sure she will respond, I like Adele but with her it’s seems more like one-sided love :giggle: while with Sia it’s mutual, looks like at least

i hope she goes brunette again, the blonde hair looks so .. makes her pale

Anyway - I hope these Sia songs do not appear as her original demo's from Sia on YouTube, because then you get the messages, i like her more or she imitates her, or they want to hear Sia's version instead of Celine's. They must be exclusively for her and she must give her Celine twist to the songs

Sia has some amazing haunting songs so I hope for the best.

I love "Bird Set Free" that's a song I can see Celine sing. :wub:

 

I really hope they don't try too much to sound current and hip with the songs

And she uses her own voice, not trying to sound like Sia.

 

I think this album will be the better version of LMBTL :wub:

She looks one color, monotone. Maybe that's the fashion trend now? :mellow:

You judge me upon two posts I wrote. I think that is much worse than what I did ;-).

I don't have the same connotation of the word ugly like you have. I was using the word "ugly" for describing my "feelings" about his looks.

You are attacking me for stating my opinion.

 

This is a forum. People are supposed to do that here. I don't have to "pinkwash" every post I make.

I never said or thought that Ed Sheeren is ugly from the inside. I don't him and I don't know enough about him to state something like that.

I just don't like his looks and I think he is an overrated artist (which has absolutely nothing to do with his looks).

I hope the two of them won't collaborate and I am also 100% sure they never will.

 

Please simply stop playing the moralizer of the forum. This is ridiculous.

I'd say he's the voice of reason on this forum and has changed my perspective on things for the better quite a few times!

So thinking about new tracks and styles for the new album.... an artist in Australia, Tina Arena, was a child star here and then huge in the 90s. She's the same age as Celine and in the last 4 years has released two new studio albums... both very similar vocally, thematically and in genre... this could be a great template for Celine. How does an artist with a 30-40 year career who is a mother and a master vocalist survive and be relevant in today's pop scene? This is a live performance of Tina's last single and I can totally imagine Celine recording and performing this...

Tina's last two albums are also perfect examples of cohesive, well produced pieces of work, exactly what LMBTL wasn't. It seems like a small team worked closely together on all of the songs to create a consistent sound.Céline could definitely learn from this way of working, she just needs the right team... Probably why her work with JJG is so good!

I'm sure that I will get a few comments on this but, to me, no, I'm not happy with Sia. Sia is a great artist and truly is a treasure but, Sia is everywhere ATM. And it's not that it came as a surprise to me. Don't get me wrong but, if you see how much positive respond she got after 'Immortality', that's where people know her for. She's famous for the good old ballads. That's what a lot of people want to hear! I'm not praying for an album with dozens of covers or slow songs but, Céline and her voice are so unique in this world. We already have a Sia, we already have a Rihanna and what so ever. Stick by your unique self. And it's not a bad thing that she wants to discover and play with music but, I kinda miss the old Céline though... Yeah, she needs to reinvent herself in uptempo music but, please, let it be uplifting. Let it be a good pop album with uplifting melodies that celebrates life and happy moments. Songs like ANDHC. Remember that moment when HDAMLF came out? Everybody heard the old Céline and gone wild. Still, she has a huge public above the 50's and they do expect the traditional Céline though. Not a trial example to be at the playlists again.

 

Sia won't get her in the playlists again. Else it would have already happened with LMBTL. If Rihanna would have sung this song, it would be a smashed, huge hit everywhere! Sia is a great writer but, in my opinion, not for Céline. We all know that she will copy Sia's singing style and that is NOT Céline. Remember the scene in the toilet? There she approaches the song as a singer. I remember an interview where she said that she, when she sings it live, approaches it in another way. Still I think that when she thinks in that way, the song doesn't fit her voice always. And God, I still hope that she will collaborate back with David Foster for once. He can get something out of her voice that others can't and really, in. Y opinion I'd rather have a less quality album of ANDHC then a better version of LMBTL. I listened that album twice and that's it. For as her 90's album and ANDHC, I listen to them on a frequent manner.

 

Also for the tour I saw A LOT requests from her 90's and ANDHC album and only one or two songs from TC and LMBTL-album. That makes also sense I guess? Please, don't be angry with me. This is how I feel it.

Three songs by Sia? Simply amazing.

I don't care whether it charts or not, I just love her music and I adore Loved Me Back To Life (it's by far the best song of that last (dreadful) album)
