and here I have a problem. It’s wrong for her team and Sony to think that this is actually the general opinion, because it’s not. I want her to stick to a style like FOMO and leave the heavy ballads behind a little. She is more than a overly dramatic ballad singer and she can do much more. I want uplifting music from her, music to dance to, to have a good time. Not to cry to feel nostalgic. If they feel the need to put her in that category, fine, but provide for a ballance with an equal amount of fun, uplifting dance numbers

I totally agree with you and I couldn't have said it better.

 

That's why One Heart is my favorite Celine's album, it has fun, fresh and uplifting vibes and so does FOMO!

This song, possibly called "(Play Me Like A) Love Song" has a really nice sound and production!! Brings me back to HYEBIL quality wise. Wonderful to hear!!

FOMO sounds far more Eurovision to me (and that's not a compliment...). And I don't find anything "fresh" in it whatsoever. Very staid, in fact, and frankly, just plain boring.

 

This is far more promising. The melody, the instrumentation, the performance... lyrics will always leave a lot to be desired with Celine (in English, at least), but this overall sounds far more interesting and much more of an earworm. (Though of course reserving judgement until we get the full thing).

 

And that is again an opinion. I call it Eurovision because I have heard this melody before in some kind of Eurovision song from one of the Balkan countries. It is quite heavy emotional strings loaded material. In that sense ashes is more fresh to my ears. Flying on my own really sounds like a fresh summersong, just what we need in this time of the year. I don't say Play me a love song is bad or anything, but I prefer the fresh summervibes of Flying on my own.

I agree with the crazy thing! And I don’t mean it all acapella. I just mean that maybe for the last 20 seconds the music just cuts off so she shocks people with it. Cause the song is just haunting!!

I have never done it before yet, but I think you just use the "start new topic" field on the main page...there you can choose the title and the description and after a moderator had seen it, it will be puplished here on the forum, as a new discussion tread I assume

This. I blocked her (and one other commenter) within my first week back to the forum, and my eyeballs/brain have avoided assault - UNTIL people start quoting her and whining about her posts!!!!

 

It’s simple : BLOCK HER. Eventually she’ll be talking to only herself in CAPS.
