Cher's synth vocal effect was not auto tune, it was a vocoder. Auto tune is used to correct the pitch of one's voice, ala Britney Spears.

 

Um, the inventor of auto-tune disagrees. He specifically points to Believe as the first commercial use of auto-tune as a distinct sound.

I can understand why they use autotune. But the line is drawn when it's used on people who can't even sing in the first place. They should never, ever have a singing career.

Pay Attention, probably the album will release in 2019, because in 2019 will have the Live 2019, The Live 2016/17 CD/DVD, end of Celine and The Las Vegas DVD.

I think that that whole passage of info was FAKE.

It sounds like someone’s wishlist, of what they want.

 

I don’t think they are doing a new album from the start, I think it’s just taking a long time because Céline wants it to be perfect. We’ll see on the liner notes it’ll say what year these songs were recorded, I’m sure we’ll see some 2016/2017 additions maybe even some 2015s but of course we’ll see some songs recorded this year as well, so it’s very possible to in the end to have a album recorded over 3-4 years, I just hope her voice sounds consistent if that’s the case, we don’t need her recording the album from vocally strong moments and also weak moments because she’s had UNBELIEVABLE good days and days of struggle in the last 3/4 years.

I just don’t take speculation for gospel. That entire paragraph was literally things people have been repeatedly saying for months. That tabloid style of writing is not for me. “Well, a friend of mine whose second cousin twice removed, has a grandson who knows someone who played on RC’s hockey team 3 years ago.” That “a source says” BS is for the birds. I’m all about conversation. But give me credible reference points to back up your claims. Don’t just regurgitate what everyone else has been saying and tell everyone you heard it from a friend.

I think so as well. Also with the last 3 years of mini tours that pretty much made it impossible to record during the summer “off” months from

Her Vegas show. I would imagine she could’ve recorded a lot in that time frame had she not been traveling.

I doubt it. His post alludes to the artist being present to record with the live orchestra in London.

Celine has a personal orchestra in Vegas, I don't think it's about her.

I still have a tiny piece of hope that this could be the new bond theme as the studios here in London have a favourite orchestra that they use from the UK.

 

They recently changed the director and direction, so why not change who they now want to sing the song.

After how Ashes looked and sounded as an opener in Deadpool 2 movie, I think they would be crazy not to reconsider her for the job.

 

Either way I’m sure she will do a bond song of her own in the future

The Bond movie might come out in Nov 2019 or even early 2020 so the timing doesn't really work for the album. Unless Sony plans to release the album in late 2019 but I doubt it... or I should say I hope not!

She will release the new album next year Summer, i will say, to coincide the end of the residency and plus she will have more time free to do promo, tv show, award live ceremonies, etc
