   :confused1:

Because I thought the only song you disliked was that one, then in the US edition you can save the effort to skip it lol

You never ever listen to this album from start to finish? Any Celine album? :confused1:

Lol that's ok, no worries.

Well, I don't really like HYEBIL, Goodbyes, AL, SFL- I prefer the version on OH, or NB.

But no, I don't listen to any of her albums from start to finish once I know the songs etc. So only when I first have an album. Then I do. But after I just play what songs I feel like listening to at that particular time. That's why I'm not bothered (uunlike some on here) about an album having a concept or songs running in a particular order etc. I enjoy each song for what it is. And after a while of listening to each of them I know which songs I love, which ones I like, which ones are ok and that I'll listen to on occasion, and the ones I don't like.

Hopefully this explains to you why I only want (for any celine album) good songs, great production etc, and classic vocals.

I am the same way! I usually listen to the album I order of song preference for my mood, etc. that's why I love Céline though, her albums are so great for so many different moods!

Personally I'd welcome Foster back with open arms. When he worked with Celine she was driven and dedicated to achieving results and, frankly, she did all she could to impress him and it shows in the recordings she worked on with him. Even during the dark "Miracle" years the tracks he worked on were the better ones.

Whenever she performs live with Foster (Grammy's, World Children's Day etc) she ups her game too.

I get that times move on but Celine has worked with loads of new people and tried different things over the past 15 years to varying degrees of success however perhaps it's time to return to what she did best and what achieved the best results in her (English) career. Just my opinion. :)

i agree, he is the guy that really knows her

I as well feel confident when David F. is around. My only concern is that the result of the collaboration might sound dated. Anyone knows of recordings that prove the opposite? Edited by LukeD

I agree tbat is with all of her albums. First i am listening to the whole thing then i only listen to those songs that i really like. I like her classic powerballads most as well. Still think ain't gonna look the other way could have been a hitsong. It is such a great song.

Btw the colour of my love had - think twice, next plane out and i remember LA. I do like that classic Celine most.

Btw of the record- but what i will always remember when listening to the first part of next plane out that i sometimes was confused if it was really raining outside ;)

I hope she records an album with 12 songs she really likes so much that she can perform live. She likes current songs, so she should try to record similar songs in her own way and leave those old covers for a while. Try to record songs to replace the worn-out "Love Can Move Mountains" which is good for the shows but it's not a fan favourite and people don't care about it (693,000 views on Vevo). If only she sang it like in 1992 or 1993 when she sang the whole song and didn't add silly words...

My advice for Celine is to stop releasing her music like clockwork. She's released the past two english albums towards the end of the year and personally I would like it if she switched things up a bit and give us an album in the spring (that doesn't look likely this time around though). Also she should start generating buzz prior to the release of the new album by hopping on projects that will get people checking for her, like Re-recording Beauty and the Beast for the new movie soundtrack, or providing vocals for DJ's like Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Zedd etc. Soundtracks and EDM features are a great way for artists to get attention they wouldn't normally receive. As far as the album itself goes I personally want to see some risks taken, while I think should Celine work with contemporary producers and songwriters like Sia, Ryan Tedder, Bruno Mars, Pharrell Williams, Max Martin etc. I also would appreciate her working with some alternative artists like Frank Ocean (who's a big Celine fan), Thundercat, Selah Sue, Tove Lo and James Blake just so the album has more diversity. As far as genre's go I'd love to see Celine dabble in funk, baroque-pop, folk, alternative r&b, dancehall and maybe even country-pop. Diane Warren can come back and so can Walter Afanasieff but all these other old producers and composer can stay home. No more covers unless she's doing them in the BBC lounge. No black and white album cover (get some color in there). I'll probably get a lot of hate for this last suggestion but put Drake on a song, that would break the internet lol!

I wish Celine will have this genre and style of song to showcase her vocal in the upcoming album. It is very powerful, dark but modern.

I would love another Max Martin song, IHT is a masterpiece :wub2: I want her to trip some new things, but also do a few usuals, but they need to keep the same concept through out. It's possible to do it between multiple types of songs, but if they will or not is the question.

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

In order of relevance:

  • David Foster (PLEASE bring him back for those amazing ballads)
  • Sia
  • Diane Warren
  • Eg White

And for the old school producers:

  • Christopher Neil
  • Guy Roche
  • Aldo Nova
  • Walter Afanasieff

I love the sound this guys gave to Celine.

Last name I want to see in the album credits is Diane Warren. Her lyrics are usually so bland and repeatitive.

I would put my eyes on Scott Price and Gatica... They produce the most interesting songs in Encore un Soir, and they produced Recovering... so I think this should be the line for the next album... There is something special in between Price and Celine, I think he knows how to take the most artistic side of Celine...

As we have seen in EUS.. what if you take modern producers if they take Celine's voice to autotuned and transform it and you don't recognized her just to sound "modern"...

Could Celine Sing a song like this? this is demo only

https://youtu.be/N9ZeLELtd-s

I really like your voice and The Portuguese language! As for the music it is a bit too much guitar in the same tones. Missing some extra instruments and missing some interesting change in the melody. Maybe with that extra punch it can become really great

Don't want to turn this thread into another Mariah Carey thread, but the last events regarding Mariah's performance have made me realise -again- how lucky we are as Céline Dion fans. And as more times goes by, as the years pass, it only serves to confirm me how underrated Celine Dion is today in the music industry.

Celine, the artist whose only presence in the recording studio shines on its own, and by watching her record a song is worth as much as the recording itself. Not many artists are capable of recording a new song in only one take, and Celine has done this a gazillion of times. That's why I've always considered the video footage of her recording sessions like pure gold, worth as much as the recording in the CD. That's why I selfishly wish many more studio albums to come from her, more than any other tours, world tours or live performances. Because the studio recordings are still of top quality, and it's where producers and songwriters push her voice to give out her best.

Celine, the artist who can have a technical problem with her in-ear piece, with a microphone, and still deliver an outstanding performance, no matter if she can't hear herself or the music playing.

The music industry today doesn't pay her enough credit. They have forgotten what is true quality and what is not. But the more time they forget about her, I think her rise to the place she deserves will be bigger one day. Not that she needs that again, but someday all the music industry everywhere will realise that there is a living legend among them, whose career, recordings and performances are still flawless at almost 50.

Not in vain, it's Celine Dion who they count on to pay tributes in countless galas of the Oscars. But I'm tired of the industry only remembering Celine when it comes to pay hommages to others. I just hope all the great producers and songwriters out there today remember that there is one voice of gold around them, that rarely disappoints, and knows how to do its job at its best like very few other artists :)

Proud to be a Celine Dion fan today, and always  :P

you know music industry are always changing,

and by now if they do the right album the recognition will come after, all eyes are on her

everybody know why she is the person who most performed at the Oscars more than everyone, because the academy doesn't allow pre-record tracks

she is able to do it live  who can sing noways?? Celine  :innocent: and maybe just a couple more

Hi Thanks, It's not my voice, its from a French artist

I wrote the song for a Portuguese-French singer, since she din't make a decision yet, i liberate the song.

Unfortunately, there is only 2 work hours in this demo, guitar and voice only one take, I wrote the text, he did the melody and play the instruments.

If nobody takes the song before we going to rework on the song, cause there is too much streak from the guitar during the song, and put some drums and piano, to make it more commercial. To make a production like i have on my single I will Kill this love, takes like 3 days.

I shared the song here, once Celine has sang in many languages before, even as a bonus on her English records,

could be nice to have a Portuguese Song sang by our Diva

She has 5 Spanish Songs

Japanese

German

Italian

Chinese

and a long french career

Portuguese is spoken by more than 244 million people in the world
