Javito Posted January 17, 2018 at 10:38 AM Posted January 17, 2018 at 10:38 AM Imagine this album will have 16 tracks. I hope this recent recorded songs will not be included in the upcoming album. Let this be a single. But I feel Recovering will be included. - Hymn- Recovering- The Show Must Go On- How Does A Moment Last Forever Honestly, if they dare to include any of these, which some are 2 years old already, I will lose all hope and faith in this team, for what she once was in the music industry. Also some of the new songs she has probably recorded by now will be 1-2 years old when the album is released. They’d better come up with a full brand new tracklist. They have to. 3 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
manu23 Posted January 17, 2018 at 11:48 AM Posted January 17, 2018 at 11:48 AM For once I need to agree with Javi, they better don’t include those three songs. It would have maybe made sense for HDAMLF if it wan the Oscar but we all know by now that’s not happening. 2 Quote
jpatdeleon09 Posted January 17, 2018 at 12:40 PM Posted January 17, 2018 at 12:40 PM Also because nowadays most people will stream the album on a platform like spotify. Those tracks ( how does a moment last forever, hymn, the show must go on and recovering) are already there to stream. I recently read about Bono of U2 saying that since people nowadays stream the music, an album cannot have any fillertracks anymore but every track must be equally great. That is a challenge he said, but eventually make the quality of the songs better. Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G901F met Tapatalk Céline's team must know this. Quote
Unisono Posted January 17, 2018 at 12:51 PM Posted January 17, 2018 at 12:51 PM Hope they don't change her voice too much. Sometimes I wonder if she knows that and what they do in post production. ... that's what I mostly don't like about EUS. They make her sound like she can't sing and this makes all the emotion disappear. Now I'd like she would sing a song like "never enough" from The Greatest Showman... 2 Quote

And if they include TSMGO I really hope they re-arrange the production... but it seems non-sense... verything was kind of design for the billboards (bad designed anyway)... and the beauty soundtrack... i guess it will be included as a bonus track in some edition... they are always so current... meh.. hahahaha 2 Quote

It would be easier at the Billboard Awards or American Music Awards. Fingers crossed. 2 Quote

The backgroundmusic is sometimes too soft in volumelevel. In her 90s cd's that was not the case at all and i think the reverb was much better and the vocals were less dry. Lexi Posted January 17, 2018 at 09:05 PM Posted January 17, 2018 at 09:05 PM Honestly, if they dare to include any of these, which some are 2 years old already, I will lose all hope and faith in this team, for what she once was in the music industry. I’d wish these songs to be on a separate album or single track... I’d like to have something physical, instead of all that streaming stuff........ I’d like to hold something in my hands. But I agree, it should not be on the upcoming album (except for Recovering maybe). I fear the future, with no albums at all anymore. The singles have gone, it’s a pity... the albums will disappear too...Although the vinyl is having a come back now. 1 Quote

I was thinking literally, because to me an "album" is the physical product in your hand, same for books. Eventually, I believe that everything will be digital. Although the decrease in producing physical copies of albums is absolutely residual, going back to the early to mid 2000's when piracy was at it's peak. isurrender Posted January 18, 2018 at 04:59 PM Posted January 18, 2018 at 04:59 PM (edited) Sales of physical cds are not decreasing? Sure. That's probably why streaming does count for charts and why some artists double their figures from pure sales to all together sales. Even Itunes sales has been becoming almost irrelevant. I don't think physical cds are meant to dissapear but it's not because they still exist that it means it's the main format. Céline is a physical seller but it will keep her from charting high. Just look at "TAST" charts those last 2 years... Céline is from another generation. And she's not the only one to suffer from this. Though we have to accept that x streams = 1 sales.
