I would absolutely love it if she did Think Twice! :)

 

Some ideas for French songs I'd love to see: Terre (could you imagine with fire like USF).

Gosh, that would be the perfect setlist, I think! The CTM/Thankful/LDAW medley, that's amazing. I love it! They could pump in some smoke for CTM, would make it so... Sultry, I guess! :) ANDHC is probably my favorite English song of hers, so I LOVE that!

Yeah I know what you mean. I felt like that until I heard the live version. It sounded much better to me. Also I wanted to include a new song that would fit in that section. Hence why I picked that one.

1 out of 19 not liked is pretty good me thinks!

Thank you! I really like the idea of ANDHC followed by ABYG because there is a lyrical connection between these songs. I also came up with the CTM/Thankful medley for the same reason. Thankful always seemed to me like the 'answer' to CTM. Both songs have a choir so I completed the medley with LDAW which features the best choir part ever recorded for a Celine song. I really love this song and I consider it one of her most underrated ones. Besides, all these are recordings that definitely apply to her core audience. Plus, they are original! Edited by LukeD

Let's hope! If they haven't redone the entire show and some things are still the same I'd be really excited to see all the covers scrapped and other songs added. And new visuals, etc.

I liked her performance on Oprah the most. It was obvious then her voice was well-rested during the break... I never paid much attention to the song ever since... And while I didn't mind the idea of Celine doing covers on the show I always felt like 'Lullaby' should have been replaced by one of her own baby songs. That's because Celine is the only singer I know who has so many songs about motherhood. This theme defined part of her discography, it made her special. It's like 'baby songs' are HER thing! I haven't! Only got opening night. That's all. So it would all be like new to me if I was watching it lol

Lol. I wasn't necessarily meaning obscure fan faves we all love (as much as I'd love to see them live). But she has a lot of other hits, etc they could fill the show with the average Joe in Vegas would still enjoy. Versus having a show with half covers. Some covers are ok-all singers do it. She just has such a huge repertoire to choose from. Don't get me wrong I love to listen to her sing anything really but still.....

So, I was thinking of ways to make the show unique. So, what if they did Incredible, right after a costume change? She could run on to an elevator right after a costume change in a blackout, and say "Incredible." Then what if they started the song with low lighting with her back turned, and then in the chorus they got crazy with the screen and lights and she comes down? May be a little too much, but I think it could work! :)

The song, mostly in the verses, lacks energy... I was surprised to see all these people stand up though! It somehow moved the crowd.

Somewhere there was an article posted about her coming back with an all new show....ccan't find it right now to requote it. It mentioned the 4 musicians being let g . But it also mentioned whether or not they keep the orchestra is to be decided. I was just thinking if that's the case and they change that too, it could be a dramatically different show in August. Just a thought
