of her classics into the show). I always thought the way David Foster did MHWGO with Charice on Oprah was

amazing -- the piano is so beautiful, and I love the

"foreeeeeever this way" moment they created (around

1:33)

 

 

Thanks for sharing never seen that before. Wow how good! Celine should absolutely do a piano arrangement only of mhwgo that would breathe new life into the song.

Any song can receive a new arrangement to fit within an orchestra setting. After all, the album versions of "River Deep, Mountain High" and "Love Can Move Mountains" aren't exactly what one would call "orchestral", yet they are/were part of "Celine." Just sayin'.

These songs are standard tour songs for Celine. LCMM has soul and ''identity''. The ones I mentioned have been treated as album fillers.

 

Musically, they are songs of their era... Dated. They are by no means timeless recordings.

 

And lyrically speaking, I find most of them cheesy and a bit childish... ''We go on as one, we do it in unison...'' There is a reason she recorded them in her 20s.

Yeah I know what you mean. I felt like that until I heard the live version. It sounded much better to me. Also I wanted to include a new song that would fit in that section. Hence why I picked that one.
