I got my ticket for Celine first this time around to make sure I could get it. Didn't want to be out airfare and not be able to get a ticket. Hotels are always easy to find there. It just depends on where you want to stay and for how long. Hope this helps!

Ok, I have a question, and forgive me if this is not the right thread to ask. I am considering going, although by the time I get it all together now that tickets have gone on sale to the public, they will be all sold out. But what's the order in getting a trip like this? Tickets first, then plane, then hotel? What if one is available but one of the other two are not? It's a big leap for a girl who cannot see, and though LV is about an hour away from san Francisco, still, wondering if anyone has any ideas/advice for me.

Christina, I am so sooo happy that you are thinking of going to see Celine. If you do end up going, find out if she is going to do a meet and greet. If she is, try very hard to do that. Even if you can't see her, just imagine shaking and holding her hand for a few seconds, and saying hello to her, and she says hello back to you personally, how are you? A half a minute of talking to her. What a dream come true it would be for you. If you manage that meet and greet, will you do me a little favour please, and tell her that Sharon from South Africa loves her so sooo much. For me, I know I will never see Celine again, unless she does a world tour again sometime, and comes to South Africa, which I don't see happening. Go for it Christina, and enjoy her. Make it happen for yourself, do it.

I needed a moment to take in what you said, Sharon. So sad. I know so many people have to live with knowing they will never have that moment with her. I will never see her either, at least physically, so we both have difficult realities we have to live with. But I've really been thinking about this. When anyone goes to see her, they do not do it alone. One fan is every fan in that one fan takes all others with them who cannot go, who have never or rarely seen her. we carry one another's love for her with us and in us, because that is what we do here, well, for the most part anyway. Aside from her, I don't know a lot about most of you, but I do know the fan you are, or in some cases do not seem to be, so I take that with me. It becomes part of me. So if I go, I'll be thinking about people, various comments we have made about certain songs if she does them, how some of you have been helped by her, etc. so of course if I do get to meet her, and if I can even remember my own name at that moment, you will be one of a few people Sharon that I will try to take right to her. I think that is the least I can do. I'd like to think that people may have thought of me for a split second at a show at some point, thus carrying me with them to her if not at least indirectly. Maybe at some point someone was looking at her and maybe thought, oh thats right there is a blind girl out there who can't see her. So I want to pass on what may have been done for me without any of us even ever knowing it. If I get to do this, of course I will tell her you love her. If I get to go, one thing I definitely must do is call out to her. I love when fans do that, so those of you going opening night, please do this! I think she will need it and I know I would do it because I simply need to express my love for her. Does anything think there will be cameras all around the theater filming the show on August 27th? I believe there were for the first opening night back in 2011...but do you think there will be filming it professionally this time too?

Thank you sooo much Christina. That would be so much appreciated, it would mean the world to me. I would be over the moon, the best moment in my life, if I could just shake and hold her hand for a few seconds, and a little hug would just be the cherry on the top for me. I wouldn't want to let her go. Am so extremely far away, i could never make it there....... Thanks for all your thoughts, very sweet of you.

I think they should air a few performances of opening night and a bit of behind the scenes into a 2 hour special to air a few days after opening night for all her fans around the world to be shown on VH1 for example!!!

I think the last time I saw a Celine music video on tv was the premiere of ANDHC in 2002. Best option would be another Oprah special done in conjunction with Julie Snyder.

She's like a weird fan in disguise as a TV host, I can't watch her, lol.

Copied her hair, borrowed her stylist, and just too creepy when Celine was with her.

Let's hope aldo has moved on from that chapter to!!!

In response to the bad editing...yes A New Day was the worst..I mean even Celine's makeup artist did not do the makeup the same over the recording of the dvd..the lipstick was 3 different colors, the eye makeup was on one night and the next off...and the editing was very poor..during IM ALIVE you hear her sing but her mouth is closed during the middle to end of song..you would think they would notice those things...and those are just the beginning for that dvd...but I love the dvd..just wish it was edited much more professionally

Acds at least sounds like a live concert. Tc worldtourdvd is overpolished dubbed ans does not sound live at all.

Speaking of I'm Alive I even spotted some weird flickering like crap through the middle of the song and it's not just my dvd/blu ray I've checked all the ones online too and they are all the same. At first I thought my dvd was wrecked till I saw it was the same with all the recordings out there.

Yes, and some of the best interviews. Celine has amazing chemistry with Julie, and they do the silly and the serious together equally well. I just wished they talked more slowly when they were together so I had a better chance of understanding them!
