Why would Barnev be in a Céline video!!???

Unless he's also taking over from Ne-Yo in the video (just as in LV)... :-D

Come on, he will only appear in live videos, and that's it :)

He could be shooting a music video for his own work, or a collaboration he's doing with another artist.

With all respect, I'm honestly not trying to put a damper on your fun, but I have yet to understand how anybody can like the "Dave Audé Remix" of "Loved Me Back To Life." It's gotta be one of the weakest "professional" remixes out there right now. I miss the days of Almighty, Tony Moran, Soul Solution, Thunderpuss, Pablo Flores and Hex Hector.

Because everyone has different taste. I think the remix is good. It's not over produced, and not too far taken away from the original and it's easy to dance to.

Just came across a fantastic review of the album (4/5 Stars), not sure if you guys have seen it before - apologies if you have :

Adult contemporary-pop artists are rare to find nowadays but it’s a refreshing to know that musicians that were popular in the 90s and 2000s are still releasing music at this present day, Celine Dion being a perfect example with her new release, Loved Me Back To Life. Even at the striking age of 45 years old, her new release justifies to all her fans out there that she still has her amazing vocals intact, evident in her newest release that she has an affinity for change. It’s clear that this album has the same Celine Dion feel but with a catch of Pop and RnB music incorporated into her songs as well as heartfelt lyrics that go well with the positive theme of the whole release.

Loved Me Back To Life is an invigorating opening track as it embodies Celine’s high vocal range as well as music with a rhythmic beat. The song has a positive theme and it also has an interesting electric guitar-solo that ends the track quite nicely. The second track follows with a much lively pop anthem titled Somebody Loves Somebody and the chorus of the song has a way of turning heads as it has a strong and heavy pop beat. The track itself is not a typical pop song because the way Celine Dion sings in this track showcases her passionate nature, making it into her own track with the power of her unique voice. Her duet with Ne-Yo in Incredible makes a lovely addition to her new album. It is a powerful track as both make strong vocalists, continuing on that Pop and RnB vibe at the start of the album.

To be clear, it may seem odd for fans of Celine Dion that she has taken up RnB elements into her songs but with the music industry constantly changing, it is seen as a positive aspect into her already successful music career that she is willing to try something different from her contemporary, slow songs.

Although Loved Me Back To Life has a Pop and RnB focus, Celine Dion doesn’t disappoint her older fans as some of her songs in this release do not stray away from her original adult contemporary-pop reputation. Songs such as Thankful, At Seventeen and Always Be Your Girl bring out what Celine Dion does best by having a strong soft-rock and pop feel into these songs as well as being able to hit those high notes, notably a quality that is favoured by all Celine Dion fans.

The talented vocalist she is, Celine Dion brings greatness once again with Loved Me Back To Life, being the 11th English-studio album she’s released (for fans that didn’t know, she also sings in French too!). It goes to show that Celine Dion has released something delightful for old and new fans, with a mixture of songs that have both a Pop/RnB focus as well as encompassing her adult contemporary-pop roots. Fans should not be disappointed that she’s added an RnB and Pop edge into her musical style because change is a good thing if it is done well and for Celine Dion, she’s pretty much outdone herself, proving to everyone that she’s still the queen of the adult contemporary genre.

This is really good! A lot of places were giving it bad reviews but it reminds you that she did a good job on this album! It's awesome!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

And it makes me so sad that sony totally gave up as celine on top 40 radio...

Those reviews proof that they rather have the old classy artists with good music and songs with no trashy lyrics.

It also proof that they still like celine... :-)

Celine is pretty much the only near pop artist that I listen to. The other ones aren't worth it.

Great review and amazing album indeed. :)

I adore the new English album and don't understand the lack of promotion.

By the way, any news about the "Incredible" music video?

To be fair though Sony did do a really decent job of promoting the album on tv when it came out. Got her on quite a few big shows before and after it's release. The only questionable aspect about the promo is the lack of music videos.

:sofunny: Best part of your awesome comment...! I agree with everything you said, I even share the same opinion about Beyoncé! And I have to add that the guy who praised Britney this way is really delusional. :P She never had a voice to sing with, she's pretty much a studio product. The farm animals comparison you brought up reminded me of this, by the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRNd9CwDo3w :-D

Omg I'm dying!

I echo the Britney sentiment too.

i dooooo agree w/ u bruno portugal, i think that loved me back to life is a wonderful.album & i love most of the songs on it!!!! :) :) :) :) however i also dont understand some of the lack of promo from her team & sony as well... now yes, they did some good promo before the albums release & a little bit afterwards, but it was still lackluster to what it could be, especially after it was released, an albums promotion shouldnt stop after the album is released, it should continue on so that everyone will be aware then they will see in the stores or over the internet, thus attracting more sales that way...

& having no music videos for this album, except for incredible, then choosing not to release it after having celine & neyo do several tv interviews about the video & song mind u, was definitely not the brightest decision from sony & her team, very dumb!!!! like i have said on here many times, music videos are still very important & prominent in the music industry, many people that i know personally, especially young people, & even myself & my own father included, still watch music videos on youtube, so even w/out mtv & vh1 showing music videos these days, there still is youtube which almost everybody that i know personally uses on a regular basis or @ least has heard of the website lol... i just hope that if & when celine releases her next new album that either sony & her team use more common sense & film music videos for her singles & actually release them lol, or that celine & rene should move on to another label who will do better by her... lmbtl is a great album & celine still has a great voice, i really hope that celine & rene dont feel discouraged after everything that happened w/ lmbtl & all, because i think celine still has the amazing & beautiful talent that she always had compared to most singers out now!!!! :) :) :) :)

This talks about the marketing and those press junkets for LMBTL also where they (her team) see her place in radio now. Dave Platel said, "Confident but realistic" "We try not to make predictions too positive , but everyone is very confident. [...] The album features many songs that can be easily extracted and we do spend the first six months of 2014. "

I have had the time of my life following this woman! Much love.

Interesting to see this perspective-- it looks like the article was from October. I'm not sure, but I think that last sentence would be more closely translated as "The album has many songs that could be singles that will easily get us through the first six months of 2014."

Thanks to Davey, now we know that a promotional CD was sent to selected journalists and radio stations from Germany in November of last year. The CD contains the two duets from 'Loved Me Back To Life': Overjoyed and Incredible. Here are some photos of the promo disc taken by him, I hope he doesn't mind if I post them:

BTW... an interesting remark.

BREAKAWAY has surpassed 1 million streams if we combine these videos:

- Official "Breakaway" from VEVO account: 359,000 views

- Audio uploaded by "Andres Diaz" 539,000

- Unofficial video from SCD: 129,000

And there are more!

So it's officially the 4th (and by far, almost doubling WAAF's views) most streamed track from the album (after LMBTL, Incredible and SLS).
