The deluxe album is Vegasish, not the regular version!! And you'll be happy when the people who go see Céline in Vegas buy the album after the show because they like some of the songs in the show... "Where can I find that song!??? On her new album... LMBTL available at The Boutique!" And I hope they will now give a discount coupon (to buy the album) to everyone who buys a ticket to her show... :D Edited by Xpresso

Xcuse me dear, but you forgot to mention the lovely LMBTL memorabilia to be found at the boutique and the opportunities to bundle it with the album to promote sales.

well LMBTL is what Celine is : a very diverse singer who likes and can sing almost everything in music

that's why i like her and that i love this album

it's not a crap "concept" album, it is filled with love and good voice and good production.

The album alone is enough Luis! Unless you are longing for a LMBTL water bottle to add to your (versatile) collection. :D

LOL - yeah, I stopped giving Celine as presents years ago. My friends don't want Celine shoved down their throat. I let them like what they like and they let me like what I like!

I think in the 90s I shoved Celine down my students throats quite a bit. One said once, Oh no, Celine again!! My reply: The door is open. :mdr:

 

Now my groups are different every three months, so I can use different Celine songs once in a while. :P I did play a couple from the new album this November: SLS and Incredible. :wub:

Hahaha loved it. The staff could also direct them to Barcelona to Xclusively kick the butt of this new marketing director who is Xperiencing problems in overseeing things. :giggle:

They had the album in the boutique when I was there at the end of November but it was only the regular version. Maybe they'll get the deluxe version but it was nowhere to be found when I was there and somehow I wasn't surprised but that.

They had the album in the boutique when I was there at the end of November but it was only the regular version. Maybe they'll get the deluxe version but it was nowhere to be found when I was there and somehow I wasn't surprised but that.

 

I think it's because Target have the exclusivity of the Deluxe version in US

Hopefully they will not ask for 'Open Arms', 'Mr Paganini' and the 'James Bond Medley'. :giggle: SONY has even failed to please these people who 'ask for the songs of the show'. :yes: Edited by LukeD

I said right from the start, they should have just put all the covers on an EP, availaible exclusively at the Vegas store and the online boutique. It would mean the people who ask for the songs are happy, and we would have been more happy too as LMBTL would have been a stronger and more coherant album. Instead we've been left with a mixture of the two on one CD which simply doesn't work.

Perhaps because Celine couldn't commit to a promotional tour around the world due to having two children less than 1 year old at the time?

 

As we've seen radio and TV are not playing her stuff, Celine NEEDS to travel to promote her albums and in late 2011 she simply couldn't do so.

 

I do get the point you are making, however, about the inclusion of the Vegas covers.

In many ways, I'm glad they did wait until 2013, as it meant that Celine got to record LMBTL, which has certainly been a hit that has made the album a success in the UK :) Without that song, the album would have still been called WAAF, and who knows what lead single they would have chosen??
