I thought ABYG was cute. That being said I'm sure RC dislikes the song with a passion. As for US... I was pleasantly shocked as I wasn't a fan of the movie version.

I love ABYG. Of course, that could be the mom in me talking, but still. I don't think there's a song on the album I don't like. Some more than others but overall, love the entire album.

My marvelous son just gave me the album, i was not having the car today, and since he was going for supper, he stopped at the store and bought me the cd.....i am so happy, a great gift from Celine and from the son. what more could yoiu ask. I'll even listen to ABYG, since i have a son so extraordinary.

Is it the first time she has forgotten to name the fans in the thank you's in the booklet??? I found that strange

 

Btw I'm disappointed with the booklet design. I know I already said this about the photos (yes I still think the album would gain a lot more with colour pictures, having in mind how amazing she looked with her hair in that session) but I didn't expect such a poor booklet. This has to be the shortest booklet she's ever made since Unison. From the huge loads of photos they took, very few made into the album right? Also, the lyrics seem to be crowded together as if they wanted to save space (and colour).

I haven't actually received my deluxe cd version just the vinyl but I haven't had a chance to sit down and look at that yet. But that does seem strange if it wasn't included.

Who is "My Dearest friend Robin" that Celine mentions in her CD booklet? Know anything about her?

Maybe that's the "close girlfriend" she talked about earlier when mentioning someone gave her advice about her & Rene? I'm not really sure who she is.....maybe another mom friend she made at RC's school? I would like to know more about this Robin person, though. I'm way to curious for my own good sometimes. You telling me I'm dying here. I ordered the vinyl edition which was gonna come today but now delivery is only expected 19 December and I can only get the Itunes pre order next week. I ordered the deluxe edition and shirt from the Celine boutique but haven't even heard if it's been shipped I want to cry

From what I understand, all the boutique orders shipped on November 1. I e-mailed them last week and finally got a response yesterday. I guess depending on where you live and the carrier (fed-ex, ups, etc.) will depend on when it actually arrives. I know quite a few people on here got theirs yesterday. But another person I know, and myself included, didn't get it yesterday. The e-mail I received last night said it would arrive shortly so I'm hoping it will come today. (finger's crossed) I couldn't imagine having to wait until December for the vinyl. That's crazy!!

Robin is her best friend who lives in Florida. They met in the 90's when Celine first started living there.

When the music store sent me an email last week telling me the LP+CD was shipped on Nov 1st with UPS, it says the estimated delivery date will be Nov 13-27th. Are they delivering by FOOT all the way from US to Canada?

I haven't recieved my cd from The Boutique yet...neither got the mail where they say it's on the way

 

All of you who bought it at TB have the album already?!?!?

I ordered mine from the boutique on the 5th September, also never heard anything. So I emailed them yesterday, and within 10 minutes I received a reply from them saying my order was shipped on the 1st November, and I should have it soon, it is on it's way. Then they thanked me for my support. So hopefully not to much longer.

If I remember correctly, Robin was her neighbor at their Florida house they are now selling. Robin's husband is Celine's dentist I think? Celine said her and Robin are best friends. I think that's the story. Could be wrong.

Oohh....I want to know this as well. Maybe a mistake.....or maybe they'll be selling certain floor displays (signage, etc.) they've put up at various stores to promote the album? Odd but very interesting. I wonder what is on that DVD and why it's only available in Germany....and as an import?!

The first few lines of the verse sound like that from SEND ME A LOVER

 

Then the part "I once was the lost one" in the refrain sounds like that from SLEEP TIGHT (so close your eyes I'll sing a sweet lullaby)

 

Then the chorus reminds me of I KNOW WHAT LOVE IS

 

then the last line "your girl"... the inflection she makes is the exact same one she did in the last line also of MIRACLE

It's good you told them. Probably they won't care, but good! I will go and see your comment and agree or like it.

Well after a quick trip to my local Target....What a let down......... No displays, nada! The shelves were in this order, top to bottom, Eminem then Celine then Avril

So I proudly "rearranged" them in the proper order! Look for me on the local news!
