Del Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:11 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:11 AM You just made me feel even worse If I would have ordered through Amazon, I could have saved about 4 Euros and that would have bought me an amazing fresh apple and plum cake to enjoy while listening to the CD Don't forget that CD's are more expensive in Europe than they are here. So don't feel bad. 1 Quote Instagram: @delphis78

celine-rc Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:31 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:31 AM I got it at Archambault as soon as they opened today. I LOVE IT !!!! IT'S SO PERFECT !!! There isn't even one song that I don't like !!!! Thank you makes me cry like a baby but the whole thing is just amazing. Céline, t'es tellement la meilleure ! 5 Quote http://images.lpcdn.ca/435x290/201103/17/305341.jpg Merci Céline pour ces deux soirées inoubliables que j'ai passées à tes côtés. infiniti Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:39 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:39 AM I got my CD...yay!!! Love the album and new material!!!! Thank You Celine and all the writers and musicians who worked on this album...We're Thankful...It Loved us back to life...It is Incredible, a Breakaway, makes us being Overjoyed, reminds me At Seventeen when I Didn't know love, waiting for my Unfinished Songs through the words Always be your girl to Save your Soul and the Water for my Flame and I ask now, How do you keep the music playing? I guess Somebody loves Somebody singing the Lullabye for me ... it has been years when last time I closed my eyes, sat in the darkness and listened to Celine...this is serious!!! Didn't know love brought that back and not only that song. 2 Quote Celine ~
nuts2you Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:40 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:40 AM Does anyone else ever notice that Celine doesn't thank her fans in her albums? I mean, I know she appreciates us, but... ya know. and does anybody know who, robin is from the booklet Quote
Javito Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:42 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 12:42 AM (edited) Is it the first time she has forgotten to name the fans in the thank you's in the booklet??? I found that strange Btw I'm disappointed with the booklet design. I know I already said this about the photos (yes I still think the album would gain a lot more with colour pictures, having in mind how amazing she looked with her hair in that session) but I didn't expect such a poor booklet. This has to be the shortest booklet she's ever made since Unison. From the huge loads of photos they took, very few made into the album right? Also, the lyrics seem to be crowded together as if they wanted to save space (and colour). Edited November 6, 2013 at 12:48 AM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Javito Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:10 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:10 AM (edited) I'm waiting on pins and needles for your review song by song about the album!! BTW the world will have to wait until tomorrow to hear mine lol. LOL! Too soon to give a review, I'm only on my second listen. And I'm not a good reviewer, either I praise a song like crazy and exaggeratedly, or I can tear to pieces another one without mercy But I can advance you that I'm feeling exactly what I expected it would happen, since I saw the confusion they had assembling the tracklist of this album in 2011: it has no coherence, it lacks a direction. But that does not mean each song individually considered is not good. But I'm so fussy with this aspect, I have no remedy I have the impression of being listening songs picked from 4 different Celine Dion albums. The album has a great start with the 3 first songs, they all fit at 100%. But with Water And A Flame, the confussion and the mess starts to show up. And when you get to Overjoyed, it's like listening a soundtrack from an 80's Disney movie. It has no sense. I still think Loved Me Back To Life is the best song on this album, thank God that Sia came aboard on this project. But this album is like putting I Drove All Night as the opening track of Let's Talk About Love. You want more of the first, second and even third tracks, but you don't get it anymore. What can be her first updated and freshened album, in terms of the SOUND, is again another step into the comfort zone once Save Your Soul is played. Where track 4 is, there should've been another Sia song, and so on with track 8 and track 13. Keepind the line the album started with the first song, not going back to the same old stuff. In other words, the enchanting dubbstep found in LMBTL has been an exciting progress in her career, but that's it. No more surprises. Even the next candy in store which is the rap interlude in SYS, has been removed from the CD version and can only be found in the LP. I don't get that. They still have to find someone who picks the songs for Céline and René and gives some coherence and cohesion to her albums, like what JJG has done for her in her french albums, but not in lyrics aspect: in the SOUND side. Like what JJG did to 1 Fille and 4 Types: an album with songs written by different people, but he supervised the direction of the album and how it sounded. And despite having 5 different songwritters, the sound had a coherence throughout the whole album. Edited November 6, 2013 at 01:26 AM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
chocolatechip15 Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:11 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:11 AM Just got home, turned on the CD, and read the booklet! I must say, this is her best "thank you" message ever.I was disappointed with the esthetiques of the CD booklet UNTILI opened the LP. IT'S GORGEOUS. Many more photos, nice quality. It was like opening a tour book. The CD is precious in the minijacket! I am THRILLED! Now time to listen! Love your excitement! But a lot of the thank you message is a direct translation of her thank you's on Sans Attendre. It's definitely beautiful . . .but I was looking forward to new thank you's! Quote

I Drove All Night! Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:52 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:52 AM I have to say. This album has quickly knocked every other Celine album to the bottom of the shelf for me.... and not just because it's new. This is probably the first album which I can honestly say I love every single song. That has never happened before. Top Songs:BreakawaySave Your SoulThank YouWater and a Flame Overjoyed isn't my favorite, but I still like it. That being said I can definitely see that big "Holiday Promotion" revolving around Overjoyed. As I drove home this evening and the snow started to fall "Overjoyed" came on and it immediately felt like Christmas-especially the intro.... I hope this isn't the case, I feel like that is the exact opposite of the great promo they've worked so hard on the last couple months. I'm in love with the new sound and so proud to be a Celine fan right now.... She is truly dominating and showing the world that she still has it. So incredibly proud of our girl! 7 Quote
puttybuddy Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:53 AM Posted November 6, 2013 at 01:53 AM I don't think so. Target was out of them at 9am this morning and it was advertised for Tuesday release in their flyer. I was so Pis*ed! Quote The greatest voice ever! ♥
