It was me who found out that it what this song because Niko posted the producers website.

On that website you could find songs they have produced in the past. One of their songs is Break Away by Ivy.

You could easily find that song on youtube.My friend Marix , also from the celinedionforum, showed me the video of Celine in the studio, so that is how i found out that the song, which I found on the producers website, is the same song. So Marix deserves credit for this too.

By posting the BannedGreekSite_DoNotTryToChangeText link you give him credit and lots of airplay. But he just stole the info without crediting anybody.

So can the video in this topic be replaced by any other video on youtube, with the same song?

i do worry about sony though, theyve not so much got the finger on the pulse as they seem to have lost the pulse a long time ago, i think its a case of call in the CSI team as the pulse seemed to come to end with a grizzly death after ANDHC. I think the first sign the patient was dying was not releasing I drove all night as a single, I think there should have been a funeral when they got celine on x factor UK, announced her new single was out on monday and then pulled it on monday morning. I think sony's promotional department have either forgotten how to spell celine or pehaps its been that long sinse they made money off her that they cant pay their internet bill, or their keyboards are missing a "C" key. there has to be some logical explanation.

 

In fact i'm pretty sure somewhere in sonys offices some strategist is currently getting promoted because the guy who should have released unfinished songs when it leaked was found sleeping at his desk, and the new guy has an amazing idea to release "sorry for love 2013 edition" with the hot new b side "think twice" lol

Look at us. How Sony would take seriouly our voices? One week ago we all were saying that the song from Ne-Yo should be the first single, or it would be a stupid move. And now we're here sayin that this song should be the single... I think we can't talk about the smartest single's choice until we have listen a little of the other songs in the album.

I think between this and the neyo duet we could have a HUGE album and a very successful album, If I was them Id release the "Incredible" Duet with Neyo and "Breakaway" as singles at almost the same time and shoot 2 music videos as well. in a way it is a little bit a pity that we know how the song is gonna sound. Even though I really love the melody and the Adele-quality in it, it would have been even nicer if it surprised us when we first listened to the song. I agree it is a great song, but I also think it was quite easy to pick this song, because the winner from The Voice of Germany had the song as a single in 2012. Was it not a bit too early to give away her song to Celine?

Either way it is gonna sound great I am sure, no doubt about that. But I was thinking what Ivy would think when this song would get massive airplay?

And I can already see the reactions on youtube when Celine's version is released, about stealing the song or - the song is originally by Ivy etc.

Kind of the same with Taking Chances, which was originally by Platinum Wild. ( Celine's version is my favorite though)

Platinum Weird? Who remembers them now? TAKING CHANCES has become a classic Céline song. Same will happen with BREAKAWAY!

Thank god this wasn't a single before though! I am happy it was just an album track, so if Céline does release this as a single, than it's not copying someone else's recent succes

This is probably one of the best decisions they took regarding this album. Put those Vegas covers for the Vegas album or bonus cd. If they want a cover, choose a cover that is really good and has some very mature lyrics. This somewhat reminds me of Ain't Gonna Look The Other Way and that is a good thing IMO with the only difference now is that Celine's vocals are very good. I hope they keep this song raw as it is and not over-produce it.

And yes I hope they do release the vegas covers on a second album or bonus cd or something...I mean since we were given the Impression that they're already recorded and done anyway from the previous concept might as well release them so we can have those, too!

I can't stop listening to Ivy Quainoo's version. She reminds me a bit of a cross between Leona Lewis and Adele. I really can't wait to hear Celine's version. It's such a great song!

The song Breakaway is very good, but not again picking those "idols" covers or random covers in anyway?!?

Is it so hard to be inovative and have songs written for you(not just adopt few ones and voila we have an album) these days?

 

Anyway I just wish the best to this "nightmare" album.

see the album topic, theres a conversation on there about celine and songs being written for her, I dont think its that its hard getting good songs written for you, but that Rene has upset a lot of the writers out there back in 1998 and his old fashioned approach is meaning a lot of hit writers dont come to him as he wants them to give up the money they would make from the songs. therefore she gets songs like taking chances and breakaway (which I love, I cant wait for breakaway) but they get songs that arent a gamble, i think its why her french career is so varied in a good way, she still has major pulling factor for french writers as she turns all her french stuff to gold!

I don't know what the hell Rene was thinking. Thats how a writer makes their money if he wants royalties than he needs to have Celine write her own songs bottom line.

yeah and thats what the writers thought, from that article you can get a sense of what the writers were thinking, and I know its not fake because Ive seen meatloaf in an interview mention when he did his version of its all coming back to me (which i didnt like lol) that Jim wasnt working with celine anymore because of that very reason, and that is why he let meatloaf sing the song too, to sort of prove a point, And as much as I love celine you cant blame him, Celine had one of her biggest hits with his song, they invite him back for the follow up album, celine sings it, then Rene says "Erm Jim we want you to sign over your royalties to us" and he very politely tells them where to go. hence one of what would have been the albums strongest tracks is scrapped!! logically you cant say that it didnt make it because it wasnt upto the rest of the album, there are at least 4 or 5 songs that it could have replaced. I mean who thought I know we will scrap is nothing sacred and have treat her like a lady???? and when you find out heavens what I feel could have been a celine song, and there youll be by faith hill could have been a celine song but the writers turned down Rene's demands it makes me slightly frustrated, can you lets talk about love if instead of trat her like a lady the album opened with Is nothing sacred (like its all coming back to me) went into immortality and then the reason, then a few of the ballads and heavens what I feel, that would have been an amazing album, much more like FIY. but instead of the 30 tracks submitted they chose singers who were just happy to sell their songs, in other words they were starting out, and having celine sing your song was good publicity, scrap the dianne warren and jim steinman and david foster songs, "we dont need them" and have songs by unknowns. then it gets to 2013 and the people like steinman wouldnt go back to celine for love or money, they dont forget!!!!

 

ps is it a coincidence that Is nothing sacred got leaked in high quality, this is just a guess but phil spectors songs never got leaked, we all want them to, but his opinion is they are the best songs celine has ever done, Renes opinion is they are the best, but rene never wanted to give in to spectors demands, and they have never been heard. On the flip side Steinman wanted the song released he just didnt want to have Rene making money off his song, so the album is released, I honestly think Steinman leaked it himself to prove a point that his song would become a fan classic, and prove just how much money has gotten in the way of creativity!!! there has to be a reason it was leaked and the fact that THAT song was cut when others made the cut does indeed prove its about the money
