Lemme just tell y'all this, I was there and it's what you would've expected I've Got Nothing Left to have been. It's deliciously pop & r&b. If it wasn't for last minute LMBTL, this song is for sure to be a single. It's soooo good!

i wish i could travel to a parallel world where LMBTL didnt show up and incredible is the first single.....hahaha

hahahahaha.. because of that silly 26 seconds bad snippet it came stuck to my mind to change the lyrics of the song "Impossible" by James Arthur and changed it with "it's increediiiibleeee".....

That's not their fault. Sony sends the material to radio stations, it's up to them if they want to play it or not.

Oh dear. Here we go again. People thinking 'Incredible' will do incredible things on radio.

 

It's radio that is not playing songs by Celine cuz she is old. Yes, it's age-ist thing to say but that is radio's practice - to ignore old artists to put it bluntly. Although Ne-Yo is also on the song there is just no guarentees that radio will play 'Incredible.'

 

Just enjoy the songs, and forget about radio and charts.

Madonna is older than Celine but radio stations played her song ''Give Me All Your Lovin'' (even though it was pure crap) because Nicki Minaj and MIA were featured in the song.

 

As for Ne-Yo, his duets with Mariah Carey and Jessica Sanchez (both songs were very predictable) were totally ignored by radio stations and therefore flopped so I'm not too confident about his collaboration with Celine.

Also, don't forget Madonna was tremendously helped by the NFL. The NFL went on a media blitz promotion for the Super Bowl including radio. Their deal with radios was to advertise the Super Bowl and to play the half-time artist's new song - Give Me All Your Luvin''. After the Super Bowl and radio didn't have to play GMAYL contractually, the song nose dived out of the charts. If the NFL and radio didn't have that payola deal I don't think GMAYL wouldn't have been that successful.

 

After GMAYL Madonna released some songs from MDNA but radio ignored her. She was said to be "unhappy" about it.

Exactly! Well said. So much for all the excitement. We thought that the song LMBTL will be her next MHWGO in terms of success but look what happened.

I don't think anything will ever compare to MHWGO & It's success but I get what you mean. I wish this song was charting better. It's not doing horrible but it could be better, especially for what it is. But, at any rate, we should just enjoy the material. Life is too short to stress ourselves about this even if it is disappointing.

I am beginning to share exactly the same opinion. We should stop thinking about the charts although René and the other people steering her career probably care about her success chartwise, and if she stops having success in the charts, the step to "not making music anymore" is probably much smaller.

I think any decent song that Celine releases could do well with the right promotion - tv promotion especially. I don't think radio has that big an impact anymore. People rely on tv, word of mouth, and itunes now!

 

Really got my fingers crossed for Incredible to be performed on x factor uk if she does appear.

I haven't been to "Celine" and I haven't seen any footage, as I still have hopes to go to it. I really don't know how Overjoyed sounds, as I'll listen to it for the first time on the album. Is it that bad? :laugh:

I haven't been to "Celine" and I haven't seen any footage, as I still have hopes to go to it. I really don't know how Overjoyed sounds, as I'll listen to it for the first time on the album. Is it that bad? :laugh:

 

I personally thoroughly enjoy the song. First time I heard it was at her concert in August and I am looking forward to hearing the studio version. It was reported that they updated the production of the song for the album.
