Second single: "Incredible" - Duet with Ne-Yo

I think some people here have very narrow-minded taste in music. Clearly some are offended by Céline singing r&b.

 

This track is EXCEPTIONAL!!! It gives me goosebumps. The hooks, the bass, the beats, the stuttering synth towards the end and of course their voices weaving together brilliantly. Truly anthemic!!!

 

Wake up people. This is screaming HIT in 2014, you heard it here first.

 

I am so impressed with Céline releasing material like this on her 25TH studio album!!!

I watched the behind the scenes cause I knew there won't be a full song but for the time being it sounds so boring and constant. Somebody loves somebody is a way better. Of course, my opinion might change when I hear the full song but this behind the scenes doesn't show anything incredible

Celine's ONLY shot at radio at all. Plus, the song is exceptional. Brilliantly executed and superior hooks that make this an instant hit.

Nope, not possible cos Ne-Yo's album was released in Nov, 2012 while this song was written in early 2013. Besides, Celine's album wasn't finished by then cos back then, it was only going to be the Vegas covers.

He is very talented! I realize he uses a lot of pre-taped stuff but where is he supposed to get video for the concepts he does? It would take forever to go out and film all of that. If they actually let him come & work on some stuff, I'm sure we'd more original film. I wish Sony would make a music video or two but that's wishful thinking at this point. I realize I'm newer to this forum than a lot of people so I know I missed something somewhere along the way, but why are there so many people on here who don't like him? He's just a kid with a dream and talent. I'm not saying everyone needs to jump on a bandwagon for one person or group or whatever, just curious.

Are you sure? I could swear that we heard about this song MUCH earlier than that...As we were speculating it to be the same song that he did with Michael Jackson...I thought the Ne-yo duet rumor came about MUCH earlier than just the beginning of this year...

Yup, cos at first, he was asked just to write one song - Thank You, for the album but then, Celine wanted a duet with him this time.

Gotcha'. I'll admit I'm jealous too (at least as far as meeting Celine goes) but I haven't lost hope that we'll all have our own Celine story one day! Just watched the Inside The Studio since I've already heard snippets and I honestly think the song will grow on people. It's beautiful...I just think people are so hyped up from LMBTL and SLS's attitude and then this one is softer, yet it still holds that punch! It will grow on people IMO!

How do I go about this in a gentle way?..

 

There are a billion people on the internet making fanvideos set to music. What makes Curtis' "work" so special? Why should Sony pick some random kid to direct music videos for one of their legendary artists when they have the ability to pick from an endless pool of seasoned professionals? It's not only unheard of, it's illogical.

 

Look, it's nice that he's enthusiastic and obviously has a gift for self-promotion so early on in life, that's a much needed skill if you want to get into this field, but a lot of his actions have been shady. They include: purposefully mislabeling videos as official to get more views, then disabling the comments to hide critical comments, publicly accusing Thierry (the director of the mv's on "Sans Attendre") of plagiarism (which is a f****** serious charge) based on superficial similarities to his own fanvideo that consisted of stock footage he didn't own (he could've gotten in serious trouble for that one..). Not to mention it's so funny to contact a company and try to force them to hire you after you've illegally used their copyrighted material for your own personal vanity films on youtube focused on your family's trip to see Celine in Vegas (really????????). All of the above shows entitlement, arrogance and dishonesty.

 

I'm going to be frank. If you watch any of Curtis' original work, it looks like something straight out of a tiny town's amateur teenage film festival. Even casting aside the issue of credentials, directing a professional music video takes a lot more than just editing skills, which happen in the post-production (and is what he basically does with his video collages), but he lacks many basic film skills and techniques.

He's a young kid, he might well grow and evolve into a talented director, who knows. But I'm not going to contribute to the sabotaging of Celine's career by joining a campaign to have some unqualified random direct her comeback music videos

The song is great, and compared to other chart-friendly songs, this is top notch. However, I agree that a radio edit is in order. It could be cleaned up a little.

 

Not going to be my favorite song on the album, but it is catchy and a nice style for Celine.

I woke up this morning with this song in my head. To be honest i prefer WAAF and DKL from the 3 leak songs because i always compare the songs when i hear more tjan one songs, but this is still good, i'm sure i will really enjoy this song if its the first single or the only song i heard.
