Jeff Abbott Posted January 8, 2013 at 06:21 PM Posted January 8, 2013 at 06:21 PM (edited) It still made the top 10 on the album's chart! Do you think it stand chances of being certified platinum in Poland? It's quite crazy for a francophone album, right? It would need to sell 20k to be certified platinum, I guess. As for now, we're halfway through. anewdayhascome Posted January 8, 2013 at 07:07 PM Posted January 8, 2013 at 07:07 PM (edited) Exactly. It'd stand a chance if they release a 3rd single not only in francophone countries but also here. I wish she had visited Poland to promote SA while she was in Europe. The journalists could have at least gone to Bambi Awards to interview her. I'm surprised that Celine's management thinks only about francophone countries when they release a French album. For instance, the only other French-speaking star so well-known and with songs on the radio is Garou and he is always visiting Poland for various shows. SA has already been longer on the chart than any other album since 1f&4t. It's surprising too that it has already outsold 1f4t, not to mention D'elles. I don't know the exact numbers but it's gold so it's as much as TC which was promoted much more Edited January 8, 2013 at 07:08 PM by anewdayhascome 2 Quote A New Day... 10th & 11th November 2006 Taking Chances World Tour, Antwerp 13th & 14th May 2008, Kraków 28th June 2008 Celine 25th & 27th & 31st August 2013 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th & 28th September 2016 Sans attendre Tour, Paris 1st & 5th December 2013 Encore un soir, Paris 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th June & 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 9th July 2016 Live 2017 Stockholm 17th June 2017 Lille 1st & 2nd July 2017 Paris 8th & 9th July 2017 Berlin 23rd & 24th July 2017 Live 2018 Taipei 11th & 13th July 2018 Manila 19th July 2018 Bangkok 23rd July 2018 BST Hyde Park London 5 July 2019

That ain't happen. As for the 3rd single from SA, if "Attendre" was released to our commercial radio stations, the song would probably catch on and 'rekindle' the interest in the album. Maybe that would move "Sans Attendre" closer towards the platinum certification. Anything is possible with heavy radio airplay (which, by the way, Celine often gets in Poland). mike_z Posted January 8, 2013 at 08:31 PM Posted January 8, 2013 at 08:31 PM Yeah, but she needs to release "Attendre" instead of "Qui Peut Vivre Sans Amour". "Attendre" could get a lot of radio attention without any promo or video! 2 Quote

In France, compilation albums didn't used to be included in the main album chart. I think there was a different compilation album chart in the past. But it doesn't seem to be the case anymore by looking at chartsinfrance.net Edited January 9, 2013 at 10:14 PM by Xpresso Quote

Critics were hugely positive about this documentary and it was really appreciated by her fans and even non-fans. Quote
