Sans attendre on the charts worldwide

Because if it's only digital singles then there's no point in thinking about what song will be the next single to represent the album cause you can simply download every song from the album on the internet. We have the figures for last week:

 

#4 physical sales: 6830

#44 digital sales: 238

 

Don't get why some said she would sold more than 7880. Anyways, it's not bad at all!

Single choices are the next songs that are promoted in television appearances, radio, etc. Focusing on one song/single at a time makes the song stick in a consumer's head, and encourages them to more likely buy the song or album because of that promoted song.

In the past, compilation albums were not included in the main album chart. It was on a separate chart, just for compilations...

If that was still that way, Sans attendre would be #7 or #8.

Yeah, that's surely great for 'Sans Attendre'. Even Mylene's latest album 'Monkey Me' was probably half as successful as 'Sans Attendre' and Mylene is a HUGE star in France. 'Monkey Me' dropped out of Top 10 in its 4th or 5th week, i guess. I'm not even sayin' anth 'bout new album of Patricia Kaas 'Kaas chante Piaf'. It was in Top 10 like for a week or two max. Though the album is really great, very much sophisticated and stylish and unique. So it's such a great deal of luck Celine's enjoying with 'Sans Attendre'... I'm sure the 3rd single will boost the sales

Give them a second....She was sick not long ago, and is wrapping up Vegas next week. We were already told a video is being done. I suspect we'll have a video in April.

I think it will pick back up enough momentum to hit 1 million in France with the release of the new video/single. It will be Sans Attendre's one last push.

 

And we should be a little patient with Vegas/her sickness recently. She isn't a robot.

I don't think there will be more promotion for this album.

 

Neither from Sony (all other albums released in November are already mid-price ...all but Céline ) nor from Céline. René didn't say a word about upcoming plans to promote it. It just said "SA did well also because we DID good promo". They were talking about it like the life of this album was already in the past.

 

We all would like that they go on with promotion so that it can sell more but we need to understand also that the few albums that sold so well in France lately did it after a year (or more) of promotion.

Sales are still good! Hope they go up again with the new single!
