I'm Hoping for the "Greatest Love Of All" Or "I Will Always Love You" solo I have a feeling IWALY will be all 3 of them like the MJ tribute Earth Song

loll why would it affect her? She said the truth! Whitney was a drunk heavy drug abuser who didn't give a damn about the gift that she was given. Its just sad. But Celine didn't blame her directly, she blamed the crazy showbusiness and bad influence around her... So its all good.

I bet it's gonna be lovely no matter what song(s) they choose, but I would die if it's One Moment in Time, All At Once or Didn't We Almost Have it All (or I Look To You and I Didn't Know My Own Strength if they go for something from her last album). I know neither of these are likely choices, but still..

I would prefer she stays away from the predictable ballads and present the audience with something like the medley of " I Wanna Dance with somebody/How Will I Know" Whitney did for the 25th anniversary of Arista Records

Even though this is only a short acapella improvisation in French she totally blown this song out of the water.

 

Simply MASTERFUL!!!

Why it would affect her? She was simply speaking out the truth.

 

Everybody knows that Whitney died of drugs abuse. Her fans wanted to believe that Whitney death was an accident or even a murder but even the coroner found drugs in Whitney body after he completed the autopsy.

About fainted when I saw this topic! While this doesn't completely make up for the album postponement, this totally ROCKS! I will die no matter what she sings! I CAN'T WAIT! And the 11th is just around the corner so hopefully people will tweet during the taping or after and we'll find out early what Celine is singing and hopefully get some pictures as well. SO EXCITED! for me Jennifer Hudson is overrated. I hope Celine gets the chance to do her own unique version of one of Whitney's great songs. I would not mind I look to you or I am every woman, or Jesus loves me. Which song it is gonna be in the end, it does not matter, it is already great that Celine will be there too! Just as we hoped for.

Great news everybody! I was a bit worried she wouldn't take part in any tribute to Houston, but now I am all calm.

 

I hope she does one of the following three songs:

 

I Have Nothing - this tune is truly Houston's second biggest song to me (right after IWALY). And I love the first lines. Céline would sing this so well.

 

One Moment In Time - sums up what Huston's career now is. She truly had her moment in time.

 

I Look To You - never really liked this song much before. But after her death I realised this is the perfect tribute song to do to her. You're not risking being disrespectful by singing one of her signature songs (such as IWALY - no one sings it like Whitney) but you'd actually be quite humble, when singing "I look to you" that could mean that one looks to Houston for inspiration.

Whitney had amazing songs,

 

For me 'I Have Nothing' 'All The Man That I Need' I love those, so would love to hear Celine sing them.

 

But because Celine is known for her ballads, she could do totally different and sing 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' with lots of dancers around her :-)

 

I know it's a tribute, and not about Celine, and not about high notes, BUT I am in need of a power vocal song with high notes that will blow everyone away.

Me is just tired of the slow 'lullaby' songs :-)
