rhapsodion Posted January 3, 2013 at 09:51 PM Posted January 3, 2013 at 09:51 PM Just wanna comment on how exclusive it is??? when you simply pull out the clips from here and there out from the trailer, and then make a 39 secs clip which sound like a malfunction record player trying to play a song. Celine Dion Greece, I appreciate your hard work in getting/spreading most up-to-date Celine news, but could we have a higher standard for the term "exclusive"? 4 Quote

mike_z Posted January 4, 2013 at 03:59 PM Posted January 4, 2013 at 03:59 PM (edited) "Let's Talk About Love" and "Titanic: Music From The Motion Picture" both came out in november, 1997. That depends on how it was conceived. "Beauty And The Beast" came out in 1991 probably before she knew it was gonna included on "Celine Dion". "Because You Loved Me" was released one month before "Falling Into You" came out. So that was planned too. Edited January 4, 2013 at 03:59 PM by mike_z Quote
zuv Posted January 4, 2013 at 05:17 PM Posted January 4, 2013 at 05:17 PM (edited) thx but you compared Celine's official albums with the soundtracks. I meant to compare the soundtrack with the movie release date.Just in general, what is released first? i never buy soundtracks Edited January 4, 2013 at 05:18 PM by zuv Quote
wjd Posted January 4, 2013 at 05:27 PM Posted January 4, 2013 at 05:27 PM There is no set standard any more, its done on an adhoc basic - as and when. Typically though, I'd expect the soundtrack before - then the soundtrack to blow up [commercially speaking!] after the movie premier. Quote Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?

smw Posted January 5, 2013 at 04:47 PM Posted January 5, 2013 at 04:47 PM That clip of the song seems like enough to declare its 1990s infused mediocrity. (I'm usually not this harsh -- but c'mon. Really? This new English album better be a step up from that kind of crap.) I suppose it's fine -- and might even like it -- for this movie. It's a feel good, 1990s type of movie. But it's not AT ALL the direction she should be taking for her new English album. 2 Quote
Kyle_Jared Posted January 5, 2013 at 05:07 PM Posted January 5, 2013 at 05:07 PM the movie title is changing to Unfinished Song for America, and there is no way I can judge that song by the snippet we've heard!!! It sounds like it will be catchy though 1 Quote

Neddo Posted January 5, 2013 at 07:54 PM Posted January 5, 2013 at 07:54 PM For all we know WAAF could be pushed back again, only took them 6 years so far!Actually it took her 2 years. After big world tour, pregnancy and residency show you can't ask for album like Taking Chances. We will get something like Miracle but much more versatile. smw Posted January 5, 2013 at 08:01 PM Posted January 5, 2013 at 08:01 PM She's done more than enough to appease us fans since Taking Chances. Obviously Celine and her team do not focus as much on albums. I'm glad SANS ATTENDRE was so successful -- because I think it will remind them how precious albums are to Celine's legacy. But I understand that the shows and her family is Celine's primary focus right now. But, again, she's given us a ton of wonderful material/experiences to cherish since Taking Chances. The fact that she didn't want to go sleep for a decade or two after A NEW DAY… astonishes me. Look at Shania… She hardly released ANYTHING since 2002. And her fans are still with her. Celine's doing just fine. 2 Quote

Celine's doing just fine. Shania is also having same show at Las Vegas. She's getting back I just hope we have like 10 new songs (non LV songs) in WAAF. It's more than enough. People need to remind themselves of Celine's big albums like CD '92, TCOML, D'eux, FIY, LTAL, SSD, ATW, ANDHC, 1F4T, D'elles, TC and SA. I think that WAAF can beat Miracle or even One Heart . 1 Quote http://imageshack.us/a/img138/7804/5tq2.png
Ray Posted January 5, 2013 at 08:23 PM Posted January 5, 2013 at 08:23 PM A soundtrack usually is released before the movie. So when people walk out of the cinema they can go directly to the recordstore (or to i-Tunes). All I ever see are people saying the posts are too negative, and now you're saying they're too positive? There's no winning with some people! Everyone's a critic, and she will never make everyone happy, but the truth is, we SHOULD be grateful! If I were obsessed with shania twain, I would have gone crazy. She hasn't done anything! Celine hasn't released a new English album since 2007, true, but it's not like she's been sitting on her butt doing nothing. We're getting a new English song soon, and I'm glad she still cares to do it. 3 Quote

I really would appreciate it if someone could reply to my question, if they are going. I can't wait any longer to hear the song in full!!
