Love the start of the video, it adds a nice touch to it. And those extra few windy whispy sounds gives it an otherworldly charm. She looks amazing and the boat in the background looks great. I do agree that it's a bit repetitive after a while, I'd like to have seen less of Celine reaching out her arms etc. She loves acting so I hope the next video we get has more of a storyline to it.

 

On the official site they play the lyric video directly after this one and i has more of an innocent childlike charm to it, which I still think suits the song more. There is definitely a difference in range between the celinedion.com and the vevo version. I played the vevo one first and was surprised that it sounded lower.

Simply the song's melody is boring and "loveless". It sounds like something tucked together in a hurry, just to have something to release. In my opinion it's the most disapponting song ever release as a "first" single since a while!

I loved the intro, like some fans said before, it adds an extra touch to it and gets you into the mood a little bit. By the way, it's so great to finally see Celine in FULL HD 1080p!! I can't wait to watch this video on my TV screen this afternoon. And I agree with some fans, I think that the man who appears at the beginning of the video must be her father, I don't know how they did it but he looks a lot like Adhémar Dion.

 

I woke up this morning and the first thing I did was call my brother to watch the video together (he says he doesn't like Celine at all but he always joins me when new stuff comes out ) and, as the video was being played, he said to me "I guess her father will probably stand by her side at the end of the video, something like when her husband and son join her on Immensité) I said that was quite possible, but unfortunately did not happen. However, amazing masterpiece!!

I was just humming it under the shower and then I thought... I just know this melody, I knew it before I ever heard this song. It is a familiar song and I wonder if anyone knows where he or she has heard it before. If so, it is a cover again I think. For a theme like this there could have been better melodies, although I have to say the video is quite tasteful and nice

I just saw the video. It's nice and it does remind me of 'Immensite'. Celine is beautiful and I think she did a good job but, honestly, the whole thing didn't impress me much. No, it's not her father ... Would have been nice attaching a picture of him to the "other fathers in this video. But I guess that there were good reasons not doing that.

Nice video. Waiting a month too long to release it. Clearly they we were waiting for the Quebec elections to be over and people returning from summer break. So still qualifies as an album

filler to me though. Not lead single material. Let's see what Plamondon has come up with, although not hearing anything about him is very unlike Celine's team. Hope he is still be involved.

Nah, the single was weak and the video is weak. Nothing to do with the videos for her previous french albums, Tout L'or des hommes and S'il n'en restait qu'un (especially this one with the multiple Célines in the same shot) - that was impacting. But this? Come on, it's just Céline moving her hands all the time, this is all they could do with her for the first videoclip?

 

Also it's the umpteenth time we get a video that shows people in it but they never interact with Céline. Why? If they can't do better things (because the video has no story, as usual), they could take advantage of the people they put in the video and mix them with Céline to create some kind of story :shrug

 

Well I guess we must be thankful to still get a videoclip from her. But we can't ask the elm tree for pears with such single.
