This album is gonna get us through our drive to New Haven for the train to NY in the morning (a few hours) haha :clap: :-D . Much better than repeating a few songs over and over.

Oh probably not old enough but they still use the term "kool aid" politically tho. They used it a lot after Obama got elected. Thanks for the example. I kind of thought it was that I just wasn't sure.

So basically what is the purpose of publicly posting this link?? How many fans will be hurt just because of 2 or 3 that did not want to keep it ''between us''.

 

The Red Heads took a risk, and they know it. But this is crazy to see how fans are not able to be united when it comes damaging or not Celine's career.

relax, i know you mean good. but it really doesnt hurt her sale. you see, take me for example, i've already listened to the official released songs so many times that i almost get a bit bored, but ill still get the album. even i've heard the whole album, ill still buy the album. there are three types of customers out there, one is us who support her physical/digital albums. the second one is the type that never buy her album no matter what, so leak or not leak is never an issue for them. the third type of customers is the most important one, they decide whether they buy the album or not after listening to the songs. if the they really like the things they hear, theyll buy it. and where do they hear hers songs? on the internet of course, they hear the songs that are illegally uploaded to whatever network and go to the stores to legally buy the album. the main job for music label is to set target on this group of people and make great great great music that drives them to get a physical album in their hands. because NOBODY buys albums without hearing them on the net first, only fans do that. the label HAVE TO provide a way for the second type customers to listen to the songs! that means, they NEED to leak the songs before its released, its their JOB. leaking is never a bad thing, except it happens too ealy before the released date. We know that this leak won't affect Celine's career.

The real leak will happen (320 kpbs quality), it's always like that. We can't stop it

yeah, nobody can stop it. even the creaziest fan can't stop it. the only way they can do is to make those who downlad them feel that they need to get a copy. that means, make great music that people feel they must have a physical cd in their hands.

This album is much much much better than I ever anticipated!

 

It's just like wow!

 

Never had this feeling with taking chances..... And I loved TC when it came out.... This is on a whole new level!

I'm sorry to fans of "TC album" what I have heard from the LMBTL album is isn't even remotely in the same league as TC.

 

The songs on "Taking Chances" were BLAHH and her voice was at one of the weakest moments of her career. I can't believe how much power she has regained in her voice again!!! Whoever is her vocal coach, that she said she started using again deserves a gold metal because her voice has gained so much strength and colors since 2007 NOT to mention much more fullness.

I fully agree! The whole TC album her voice sounded very monotonous and relying on those very high belts that were middle-of-the-road powerful. Now you listen to these songs and you get all sorts of sounds.. raspy, sweet, weak, emotional, powerful, raw, full, whole, falsettos, there are even sections where you get her "90s voice" that wasn't even present in ANDHC!

After all this time I actually think we have a masterpiece in our hands!

 

So many strong amazing songs all in one album.... A rarity for celine....

 

I can't actually pick which songs I think are fillers..... Are there any?

Νο fillers IMO. :) Each song has a purpose, none of them harms the coherence of the album. I'll be 100% certain once I listen to the songs in HQ & proper sequence though. Edited by LukeD

Her falsettos KILL ME!! and she doesn't do them often but I adore them :wub: The women STILL has it! and she was right when she said when it's all said and done its about the songs, it IS. Not only was "Taking Chances" monotone most of the album but the songs were NOT spectacular like material she had before the TC album. And sure there will always be "album filler" songs but with taking chances it seemed to me that 90% of the album was album fillers, and you can't have that in a GREAT album. So far in this album, most of the songs are really good... "At Seventeen" is a filler for sure and its sweet nothing amazing tho. But there are gems "Breakaway" and "Thankful Where as in TC the only gems were...... I'll get back to you when they exist. :sofunny:

Don't get me wrong, there was some songs I liked on the album including "Skis of LA" but nothing was really like spectacular to me!

Man hear you go hatin' on my album. I'm going to let it go, but I agree voice went another direction on this album.

 

I don't have the songs yet and I am not going to get them until the album is out or maybe not but I agree a Celine has impressed me with what she did vocally on this album. Her voice has matured and she just does different things with it. I love it. It's a step above TC vocally but other than that it's too soon to tell.
