Oh seriously?!? I wasn't aware that so many people don't like "I Got Nothing Left"!... O.o

For me it's one of the best songs on TC album, I love it so much!!! :heart:

What is it with Céline fans and the eagerness to jump to conclusions in the speed of light on any speculation that comes up?

WHERE does it say that Ne-Yo will do rap on the track he's handed Céline?
WHERE does it say that Céline will COVER an Adele track for her next album and make it the album titel?

These subjects are lifted as a possible assumption of fans. Yet in one post later it is assumed to be facts written in stone.

It truly amazes me: Céline fans beat any half good conspiracy theorist on amphetamine by far when it comes to jumping to conclusions.

I have nothing against IGNL. I think it's a fine track. An OK track. It seems unfinished however. A little empty, like it lacks something. That I can say about many of her post 2002 material. The lyrics of the song is very ok compared to many of her other newer material.

The legendary Celine Dion is to pay a tribute to a new and young singer? I really hate the idea. Celine sings with the best singers in the world, Barbra, Elvis, Frank Sinatra. Adele should even be thankful if celine would like to sing a song with her. But now Celine will pay a tribute to Adele in place of Micheal Jackson ? Believe me, Adele is successful now, but she will never be as huge as celine. BTW, I am not quite into rolling in the deep.

I wonder if Celine always talks about her kids and her family because she thinks most of her fans are older with their own kids and families and they want to hear about stuff like that. I don't think she gives her interviews with her younger fans in mind. She seems to be in a different time period than what's going on currently and she stays very old fashioned. I wish she did cater to her younger audience more. Maybe that's why she does all the covers and stuff, and older songs in her show like Paganini, Overjoyed, and HDYKTMP.

Well Céline just speaks her mind, lives in the moment and also answers questions that the interviewer is asking her. I doubt she's thinking about what specific age group she wants to cater to when she's talking about her children.

And I'm a little doubtful about her singing "Rolling in the Deep" for her new show...like some are saying it's a little odd to be covering such a new artist but I think it's great that she sings what she's inspired by. I think "One and Only" could've been a much better song for her to cover. Maybe she's doing also to cater to a larger audience since everyone and their mother knows the song!

Also I'm stoked about this album! I'm glad we're in a way getting the best of both worlds, unreleased songs in which she sounds great singing live and brand new ones. The album title seems a bit weird to me but it is intriguing and I think I'll end up liking it if they keep it.

And the song IGNL was okay in my opinion only because she sang it too airy and it sorta flatlined for me but I still thought TC was an amazing album. I have a good feeling about this album too.

I thought "One and Only" would be best too -- it's my favorite Adele song and it's not extremely well known. Céline would kill it!

I think that the Michael Jackson tributes are a little played out and everyone that has wanted to pay tribute so far has done so, now it's time for a change. Celine isn't paying tribute to Adele. She is merely singing a song of hers that she enjoys. It should be interesting. I can't wait to hear it.

I strongly disagree with those who say that doing covers is OK now and that Celine has been doing this from the beginning! :glare:

Now things have changed! Now there is the internet and YouTube and other means that make things easy to find the covered song! That is, in the past when Celine covered ABMS IACTMN, TPOL...etc. Most People around the world were not familiar with those songs and more importantly cannot find those songs easily.The problem now is that, even if one likes her LV covers, one starts to get bored before the official release.

There is no 'surprise' factor in her release! We already know half of what she will sing!

I'm surprised that they based their decisions with regard to choosing some of the album songs on some LV visitors who like some of her songs in the Boutique. :blink: Hey we are in 2012! Go and see how many people like your songs on YouTube.

Love the title! It sounds so interesting and intriguing!

Though not sure about some of those Vegas songs, there's one or two there that are real snoozefests and not really deserving of a coveted place on a studio album. Lullabye works on stage because the baby connection and all the lovely photos of her kids that get shown in the background and the lyrics have meaning when you see it all together. Don't know how that will work in the studio, it would probably be more like the Oprah performance where it was good and she sounded nice but not really something I'd want to listen to over and over. Same for How Do You Keep, it works because it's a virtual duet and you see two Celine's whereas a studio version is just going to sound confusing, unless she sings a solo version. Either way it's not the most exciting of songs. But who knows, I might get a surprise!

I too am very exited about HDYKTMP. I assume she'll do it in solo. But I can't help but wonder will she be able to carry it? I mean. Will it be as good as Barbra's version on The Movie Album?

I am so disapointed too.

I will be happy only, as some mention here before, if they split album on two discs, like before Beyonce do with- I am...Sasha Fierce, it will be so fresh and cool, but i dont believe that will happen unfortunately

It's wonderful to have real news circulating on this topic! Finally!

But I can't really tell what's actual fact or just assumption. So…

If "Rolling in the Deep" is replacing the MJ medley, I don't think we need to look at it as Celine paying tribute to Adele, just because it's replacing a tribute to Michael Jackson. I think we should look at is as Celine infusing something unexpected and youthful into her otherwise "older" setlist. Also, I love seeing that Celine/Rene are commenting on radio today. I agree that Celine has been a bit lost with her English albums post ANDHC. And I think Celine sees Adele as a beacon of hope that there are still people out there who appreciate vocal ability -- not just the electronically created "music" that's, unfortunately, dominating the radio today. She felt similarly towards Christina Aguilera.

For those of us lucky and SMART enough to be fans of both Celine's English and French recordings, we are getting a plethora of new tracks from Celine. So, regardless, we should be incredibly thankful for that fact. Yes, it'd be great if Celine was willing to put out more, promote more, DIVA more…. But we are still getting so much from her.

More than anything, I hope that Celine is in superb vocal form on the recordings. I crave the "To Love You More"/"Falling Into You" tone SO much more than the "My Love" tone.

I hope the best decisions are made to promote the album. Best single choices, best TV appearances, best EVERYTHING. The music world needs Celine Dion and I hope the red carpet is laid out for her this fall -- and I hope Celine OWNS IT! :flowers: :thumbsup2:

Interesting title indeed, very un-Célinish, just as the French title. Hopes this is an indicator of the frech winds of change.
Couldn't agree more! You are spot on. The firt tree will do very well. I never knew HDYKTMP was confirmed however! That's the finest cover song in her show (that and Ne Me Quitte pas).

Overjoyed and Lullaby are the worst tracks of her show. Really didn't need those on a cd. Guess the cd will capture all aspects of the show though, both highs and lows.

NMQP on BOTH albums sounds unlikely. Hopefully my wish has come true though that we will get a haunting version of If You Go Away (English version of NMQP) on the English album though!!

I haven't seen HDYKTMP confirmed either, but it's one of my wish songs! The melody is just sooo touching, and i had my Céline looked me straight in the eyes moment during this song, so this song will always be special to me! :in_love: I think a 'duet' would sound just as good as a solo one... Or just her doing the backvocals to! It seems like Celine Dion since she actually did the backings too! :blushing1:

YES! If NMQP will be on both albums, it would be amazing if we have a dazzling dark version of If You Go Away! :wub2:

Making covers isn't a crime! Recording covers and then and owning the song is the way to go!! Some covers are the best in her career, like the onces you mentioned.... making covers and just singing like the original is a crime... like Alone or At Last... I just hope she'll put a bit more of Céline into these covers, then just singing the songs....

Also on each album there are at least 4 covers usually.... so I don't care to get 6 of the show and then 10 new ones! ^_^

lol, some fans read between the lines!

we all knew from the beginning that her English album would contain Vegas songs. That some of us got all exited by some tweets, and 'unofficial' reports... they are making life harder for themselves

we all know that until there is nothing 'official' things change!

however, i HOPE that the title stays!!

it's finally something different, not so celine. She always choose 'love' titles, i like this: Water And A Flame!

and all the drama about those Vegas songs on 1 disc with the other songs, whats the point? Who's listening to cd's anyway? Go to itunes, delete those songs you don't want to hear, and you have your own new album

for 5 years i've read complaints that it's taking too long for her to release something. And now we get 2 new albums in 1 month... and still... :nono: :nono:

I really can't wait! Hopefully we get more news in the coming weeks!

Celine has jumped on the "Adele Train" so to speak along with every "Idol" "Voice" reality singing hopeful... People are getting tired of hearing "Adele style" even Adele is tired of hearing Adele Not crazy about the songs from the show Lullaby (I know its for her kids... but *yawns*) Seventeen she preformed back in 2008 at the Grammys (I know its a recording of it but still *yawns) Overjoyed? why not If you can't Sing It or Goldfinger even? I am excited about Ne me quitte pas however... I am greatful she is recording period but I hope for a few upbeat songs.. Is that too much to ask?

Adele's album is still in the top 5. It's crazy. It's going to go diamond soon. The first album in a long time to do so.

This time there is NEWS (GREAT NEWS) im not letting anyone put a downer on this!!! No matter how many people on here find the need to turn the news into something bad! It is beyond me why the same people complain! Javito, i thought you would be happy about this tbh, but wasnt shocked to see your moaning post as usual i am not saying ur wrong with most things you say, but today we should be happy. I agree that there should be critical response to news, but seriously the same people aint happy each time, maybe celine is not for you??

Im so happy and excited! Im so so happy! I read the news before work today and all day ive been so happy, the time in work flew by!

So what if there is vegas songs?? We knew this! They are out the way and quiet frankly i want them!

For those who aint complaining, who is excited? Its happening guys, what we have wanted for so long is actually happening! So may new song both french and English! I'm ecstatic! new songs, vegas songs, new french songs, its a bit of everything!

To the people saying celine would be copying beyonce with the 2 disc idea, does that mean she copied shaniah's "UP" two disc idea???
