I dont know it never really stuck with me ever... im glad it got cut in this show actually. After having to hear it in every country on "Through The Eyes Of The World" may it rest in peace, I just wish it would take RDMH with it to song heaven. I'm okay with RDMH. Even if it is a cover, I feel it's a really great song. It's vocal. It's live. It's a highlight of the show. It is no more/less a hit than IDAN is, but I'm fine with it being in but of course I'd boot it out if it meant it would make room for a better song. To me celine's IDAN just sounds cheap and poorly produced. There is nothing to it. It sounds like something that should be heard in a gay bar. It sounds way to computer-ish and not enough band-ish lol. Quote

They started to plau the opening video and it was completely silent. That was about 15 min ago. The mic worked fine but this is very strange for it to be taking this long to get any sound. Everything before, and most of it after is relatively easy. There is plenty of opportunities for breathing in between the lines, etc. Songs like DOL and The Reason are consistently sung in a high key with little time for breaths in between. Of all her playbacks for the last tour, this one was the most unnecessary. Even EOM was more justified. I just have to say the ABM note is so overrated. It's a 10 second Eb5.....let's think, Eb5 is not THAT high, and 10 seconds is not THAT long.... Hitting the G5 in Can't Help Falling In Love is more difficult than sustaining the Eb5. WDMHBN is indeed a difficult one, but she can pull it off. One show stopper shouldn't be to difficult. Hell, Live a Paris had Calling You, Le Blues Du Businesman, Prier Painne, Quand On N'a Que L'amour, RDMH, etc....all of those are loaded with notes! I know that was awhile back ago, but this isn't 2007 anymore than it is 1995. She is back to training and can handle now more than she did on the tour. The Reason, DOL, and RDMH are much harder than ABM, which consistently are sung in a high key. Open Arms will probably end up being a difficult one as well as the chorus is pretty challenging. Wow... interesting... In other hand... I always prefer a LIVE version even if it's not sung as the studio version... For example, if I'm not wrong, ABM in TCTour live in Boston, was completely live, and maybe technically was not right in the high note, but it had a lot of feeling in the way she sang it (because it was live) so for me was more wonderful than other performances. The same thing with My Love, the live version is not as perfect as the studio one but it's MUCH BETTER!!... So please, NO LIP!!!! sing them easily for your voice when you cannot reach but please... don't FAKE.. I think there is always a different in the way she acts... It is always sound great even if it's a High Note or a Lower one... maybe ABM it's not so powerful without the high note, but maybe we discover a new interesting song without it or a lower note... At the end... it's going to be great anyway! Quote

It did take me a while to get out of caesars and due to my excitement for the show tonight, I literally forgot to eat all day haha so I finally just got dinner and am able to sit down and write about everything! First of all it is absolutely a beautiful, stunning show. I can't say enough how much I loved it. It is so different from the past two shows she has done. This one is all about her and her talent with the orchestra only adding to the experience. I was so glad the technical difficulties got worked out cause they said they were "hopefully" going to get the show going at the beginning and I honestly thought that they may have to post pone the rehearsal! Thankfully it did all work out and Celine also apologized for the technical difficulties and thanked everyone for their patience. The one downside to the whole night was how quiet/dead the crowd was. She came out opening with Open Arms and there's a break in the music at the beginning where there should be applause and she's standing there smiling and you could have heard a pin drop. I was sitting there like an idiot clapping and screaming away and just wanted to slap the majority of the audience and tell them to show at least some form of excitement that Celine Dion is right in front of them! There were a lot of business people there along with their families, so the audience was definitely not made up of her big fans, there was only a select few of us who would be standing up and cheering. I really do wish that more people like everyone on this board would be able to attend shows like this because we find it so amazing and truly appreciate it. It just makes me that much more excited to attend opening night though cause there's just going to be a different energy in the room that will really be something to remember. I am going to type up the set list really quick along with a description of what she was wearing (she looked absolutely stunning!) and any other little staging parts and details I remember. I'll try to have it up tonight but it's almost one in the morning in Vegas and I have a midterm tomorrow morning so I may just post the minimum right now and go into more detail in the morning. I just didn't want anyone to think I had forgotten about this topic for the night!
