I would've liked to see some songs after 2000 and maybe do something else with MHWGO... a movies medley like she did in the ANDHC special, or sing it as opening number (millennium concert)... I do understand the MJ medley, i don't like his music but still I understand why she is singing the medley, she was a big fan and MJ was a big influence in a lot of singers and people. But i don't understand the Bond medley... very odd selection. I like the idea of the uptempo medley (DOL, LCMM, RDMH). The reason, WDMHBN and BATB will be the cherries on the cake. Anyway we have to see the whole thing to provide a better opinion, it might be cooler than we think... Jenni Posted March 8, 2011 at 02:36 PM Posted March 8, 2011 at 02:36 PM While driving a while ago and listening to a mix cd of my 19 favourite Céline songs, I realized not a single one of them was part of the rehearsal. While it's a bit of a shame there are so many covers and no songs of Céline's from the past decade, at the same time I'm excited that at least we get to hear a lot of songs we haven't heard in previous shows/concerts. Some songs appeal to me, some don't, but the focus this time is on her voice instead of a "show", so I'm sure I'll be sitting in awe in that colosseum and just enjoying the pure, magical voice of hers regardless of the song.. It was obvious from the beginning that there wouldn't be many up-tempo songs since she's accompanied by an orchestra and there are no dancers in the show. Sure I would love to hear some more recent (and up-tempo) songs, but I'm also excited to see a very different show. All her previous shows/concerts have been amazing, so I have no doubt this will be another extraordinary one! The cover song that I'm most excited about is Open Arms. I had never heard this song before but went to listen to it on YT, and I think that's a great song choice for her to start the show with!! By the time I get to see the show in June, I'm sure a song or two will be changed after the premiere. Now, if I could have one wish for the set list... No question I would say JNVOP. I would love love love to hear that live!! That's her song, and with an orchestra it would be simply AMAZING!!! Quote

For all of you who wanted that song, you better not complain AT ALL! lol it looks like René came here and noticed that many fans wanted that song. Can't wait for Open Arms, I forgot about that song. Its very beautiful. Glad that BYLM + IACBTMN/TPOL are in a medley You'll Have To Swing It is one of those songs that nobony knows about, Celine will make it her own once again. It will be fantastic, it has a lot of random mouth sounds which Celine is good at and loves to do. Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever will be vocally spectacular!!!!! At Seventeen!!!! If its a playback from the grammys i wouldn't care. I LOVE THAT PERFORMANCE!!!!! Lullaby is too slow and too boring, just At Seventeen was good enough for slow song. Wish she had chosen one of her French song, but i'm glad its not PQTME. BATB and The Reason will be AWESOME!!! Just spent $10 on itunes.... As much as I love an 'in his touch' 'reveal' 'just walk away' we KNOW it will never ever happen so be glad that she choose at least WDMHBN, TR, DOL I am so freaking happy with those 3 songs!! Try to except the fact that the other never ever sung live gems won't be there, not now and not in the future.But I think this would be a show she could easily change every year!! ;-) And dont forget she has a full orchestra behind her! I'm sure ALL the songs would sound AMAZING!!and that after her first show which a lot of us attend everybody is happy! ;-) And for me they don't need to shorten the whole list, I think we pay enough money to see a good full show!! Remove an instrumental intro, but please no songs... Quote

Sorry but there is no even ONE song post 1997! that's hilarious and very very bad! And not only are there so many covers, but many of them are so sloooooooooooooooooooooow and caaaaaaaaaaaaalmI can't believe they chose them, I thought they would care also for her recent repertoire. It's awesome that there will WDMHBN or BATB but they don't compensate for the others!the same ending since AND and tour also disappointingI dreamt about going to Vegas again and now I'm really disappointed.I understand that they could use covers if Celine didn't have songs which would suit orchestra but she HAS LOADS OF THEM!She could have done this show in 1999 but now?!
