celinerific Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM I agree with all the comments above lol.She looked and sounded amazing, but we need more Celine screen time! Quote http://i58.tinypic.com/2qbub9c.png @ErikaTran | Insta: aireexwp | erikatran.com
Frida Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM Celine, you made me proud tonight, that was a wonderful performance Unfortunately, Celine is not the point of that section of the show. Exactly Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
PriscillaBarragan Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:03 AM Thank you Anne Hathaway for thanking Celine & Halle Berry for the memorial performance/speech Quote
Javier_Natalio Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:04 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:04 AM Finally, they thanked her. Quote
Belle Céline Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:04 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:04 AM We could barely watch Céline, just listen her That's for what the producers wanted Céline, to show pictures full screen and not her? About her voice, I'm sooo satisfied! No nasality at all, her pure voice is back now :in_love: Please Céline record your albums soon while this lasts! The point of the tribute was to remember the people who passed away. Cuquito Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM She was stunning and I couldn't almost see her!!!!!! Quote
PopMusicBoy Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM The point of the segment is to honor those who we lost this year. They rarely ever have a live singer as part of it, it's usually the orchestra, or they air clips by performers who died. Beside that, it was an incredible performance from Celine. Hoping a HQ mp3 surfaces. It was great!!! Quote
RomualdlovesCeline Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Very anticlimatic I didn't see her in the red carpet show on ABC or etalk canada; I watched all the show and they never pointed the camera towards her; I saw her face for 2secs; she was so beautiful and her dress was amazing but her performance was too short and she was thrown on stage and put back into the unknown for like 2secs. It's very disappointing. Quote
sayyed Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:05 AM Anne Hathaway thanking her & Halle Berry in the end was satisfying. She looked fierce and her voice wasn't that good in years. Very moving. Smile ---> last song on her new album, I called it. Quote https://soundcloud.com/finnremixes
ladylindsey Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:06 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:06 AM She did great! Perfect song choice for that segment! Quote

PopMusicBoy Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:06 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:06 AM A studio version as a bonus on her next album would be awesome! Quote
A new day... Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:07 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:07 AM I have nothing to say... It's 5am and I've been waiting for more than 5 hours for THAT??? Thank you... good night everyone. Quote
Ejion Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:07 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:07 AM Yeah, wish they showed Celine more or they could've showed both her onstage and the screen with all the people who passed away(Gloria Stuart was there from Titanic ). It's soo weird there's no introduction I guess at least Anne Hathaway thanked Celine and Halle Berry for the memoriam after the commercial Quote
Jessyka Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM The point of the tribute was to remember the people who passed away. Exactly! Quote http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff5/backup674/Banners/Image1.jpg
Celinechick Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Stunning as always! All I can do right now is smile:) Didn't expect her to be in the cancer commercial(although I knew she sponsered it). That was another great thrill! I'm gonna call it a night, stayed up just to see Celine, as always. Can't wait till Vegas!!!!!! Super pumped! Goodnight Celine lovers:) Quote March 26, 2011Team Dion http://jesslambofgod.blogspot.com/
ThisTime Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Some of you guys need to realize it wasn't about Celine, she was simply there to honor those who had passed on. They thanked and applauded her after the entire segment was over. Quote http://i.imgur.com/MfrTohK.gifMy Twitter || My Tumblr
remykyes Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:08 AM Really people?! Celine could have declined and we could have just been content with the Oprah episode, but no, she did the Oscars! She even did the Red Carpet! Can't you be thankful for anything?! The section of the show that she was asked to participate in is about those who have passed on in the past year, not about the singer. Gosh! Give the woman a break! On a completely different note, it was very beautiful and I started bawling the moment she stepped on stage. GO CELINE! Quote New Signature Coming Soon!
alvaap24 Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:09 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:09 AM She was only on for like 10 seconds but she is still trending Quote http://static.rp-online.de/layout/fotos/Celine_Dion_Vegas_NVJJ1244d8062640354.jpgThere ain't a dreamThat don't have the chance to come true nowIt just takes a little faith..

Javier_Natalio Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM All people lecturing me (ok, us) about it being abut the dead people and not Celine, thank you but no thank you. Keep your wisdom to yourself. They could have shown her and the pictures behind her. Quote
celineaddictedpt Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM She was absolutly AMAZING! Her voice is perfect and she did a great, great job. Here's what makes me love Celine even more...although she's a brilliant singer she knows that this moment is not about her and so she chooses a classic dress, very simple, very discrete. Like "i'm only here to sing. the real stars are these people we're honoring". Thanks Anne Hathaway for thanking Celine =) Quote www.fotolog.net/celineaddicted5
aicee Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:10 AM (edited) just saw her minutes away now. They mentioned her name after the performance. I was kinda use to saying her name after a performance, haha! anyway, she's splendid Edited February 28, 2011 at 04:24 AM by aicee Quote

idroveallnight Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:13 AM Posted February 28, 2011 at 04:13 AM Celine, you made me proud tonight, that was a wonderful performance ExactlySo don't ask the woman who just had twins and is putting together a new show in Vegas to come sing a 3 minute song with 2.5 seconds of screen time. They could have easily kept the camera on Celine while video of the deceased played on the screen behind her. I guarantee you Rene is going to watch this back and be in disbelief. They should have just asked her to prerecord the song in a studio and let them play it while they ran the video. I'm sure it is always a humbling experience for Celine to sing in front of Hollywood's royalty but there's 200 million people around that are watching as well. She's never looked or sounded better at the Oscars and of course something had to ruin her performance. Quote
