Cheerfuljane Posted December 9, 2010 at 08:10 PM Posted December 9, 2010 at 08:10 PM Maybe they just realized that it would be too restrictive and would attract only a certain demographic. They might still have a few classic hollywood songs but that won't be the main emphasis. Quote
davidjag79 Posted December 9, 2010 at 09:22 PM Posted December 9, 2010 at 09:22 PM I'm kinda relieved... She didn't mention the "Hollywood theme" at all on Larry King Quote I have waited for so long...for a miracle to come, A New Day Has Come!! http://i49.tinypic.com/1q1q4i.jpg

Nmj Posted December 9, 2010 at 09:34 PM Posted December 9, 2010 at 09:34 PM man i sure hope that its cut out of the show, or minimized into a small medley of songs... i hope that Celine didnt just forget to mention it on Larry King Live, and we could all be speculating about nothing... i hope someone gives us a answer soon...from a reliable source like Rene, or Ken Enrich (the producer) Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted December 10, 2010 at 01:45 AM Posted December 10, 2010 at 01:45 AM Well, IF the movie theme has been cut then we can kiss any chance of "Then You Look At Me" ever being performed live goodbye. Quote
celínico_sin_remedio Posted December 10, 2010 at 02:40 AM Posted December 10, 2010 at 02:40 AM If all this speculation finally becomes true, I will believe again in the fact that Céline's still inspired by her own music, and that's all that concerns me right now. Creativity on the right way. Gotta love it. (Of course I would be assuming she won't sing again the very same songs she's been doing in the past, but... ok setlist needed here. Wikileaks! We need u! Neither do I, but with a show surrounding itself around movies and their music, the song would have had a heck of a lot more chances of getting added somewhere down the road. Take the movie theme out of the mix and you kiss that officially goodbye. Quote

Typically hilarious of some members. I can't wait for whatever on the 15th Edwin, once some of us have exprimed our minds in a trial of understanding their decisions on making a Hollywood themed show, I think it's easy to comprehend that those same of us are a bit excited by the especulations. And maybe overreacting. I just hope for the best possible setlist though. Just. Some songs rarely performed, combined with her biggest hits in a soulful way with the help of the Orchestra. And btw I expect them to keep the hologram topic in the run. Edit: You mean by spitting the dummy, that some of us are complaining? Sorry then, I agree in that case. Just remember what "spit the dummie" means. Escupir el chupete... stevo Posted December 10, 2010 at 12:32 PM Posted December 10, 2010 at 12:32 PM Celine did seem to hesitate when Larry King asked her about the concept and she babbled about it being a pure show, about music and the voice...I do think the Hollywood movie theme is no more- Celine is successful off her Greatest Hits- people will go to the show to see her sing them. The 25000 of us here on the forum may have tired of The Bore Medley but many millions haven't seen it yet and the producers know that. BYLM will be there... Personally I wasn't very excited about the Movie theme anyway Quote

davidjag79 Posted December 10, 2010 at 02:45 PM Posted December 10, 2010 at 02:45 PM I'm sure we will get the hits medely as always.. but let's hope they mix in several new songs we aren't use to hearing Celine perform like they did with the TCWT (It's a Man's World, The Show Must Go On) Of course i love her hits but i want some new material. From the Larry King interview it seems to me that the Hollywood theme is scrapped, and there is not an official theme determined at this point. I'm ready for whatever is in store ... BRING IT CELINE!! Quote I have waited for so long...for a miracle to come, A New Day Has Come!! http://i49.tinypic.com/1q1q4i.jpg
