Confirmed - "Hollywood theme" Canceled

After watching the new Larry King interview Celine didn't mention anything about "Hollywood Movie songs" and when I checked celinedion.com they removed the "Classic Hollywood movie" songs from the description. The fact that she has emphasised the music side of things so much on Larry King can only be a good thing. I just hope the lack of sleep she's having at the moment doesn't mean that they cut corners in shaking up the tired playlist standards.

Maybe they decided to just drop the idea after all the complaining that has been going on by certain people...

 

I'm also happy to hear that it will be focussed on the music and the voice for a change. I couldn't care less about all the other stuff. They can put her in her pjs on stage for all I care. And by the sound of it she wouldn't mind...

I may be jumping the gun here, but its disappeared from the official site for the new show, the new updated cd.com site and she didn't mention the concept when Larry asked about the show last night...

 

But in the past she mentioned this concept to Oprah and in other statements regarding the comeback!!

 

So have things changed recently??

Who knows, but if they decided cancelled movie theme what will be main theme of show? Céline hasn´t new songs so it can be Céline´s biggest hits and some covers movie theme or not movie theme.

Well the show was still in development, so it's not weird that this theme might have been cancelled...

 

 

BUT I do think this show has to have a theme of some sort and not a 'GREATEST HITS' show!

I am so glad they've but a stop to the movie theme, as the only movie songs I would have liked Celine to sing would be Barbra songs.

 

Hopefully, this move means that they can focus more on CELINE'S music, and make some really fab new arrangements with the orchestra, and maybe choose some rare gems from Celine's catalogue!

I never minded her going back to vegas but i wanted more of a POP show instead of movie covers
