I Did Email Celine's team about 5 days ago and they just got back to me with this:

 

Thank you for your inquiry with respect to Celine's upcoming Las Vegas

engagement.

 

The Hollywood theme idea was something that was explored creatively for a period

of time and it eventually evolved into something different. This sort of

creative exploration always happens when Celine is developing and preparing a

new show. Of course there will be some movie-related songs in the show,

considering that some of Celine's biggest hits are from her association with the

big screen, however, this will not be the focus as was the initial intention.

 

The presentation will be visually stunning, with some truly incredible

surprises! In addition to performing her hits, Celine will also be singing some

of the greatest songs of all time, supported by a 31 piece orchestra and band.

Fans will experience her music, like never before!!

 

Once again we thank you for your interest in Celine's upcoming Las Vegas

Im glad i could get a confirmation for you, to be honest I was sick of the moaning and complaining from people that knew nothing about the new show, that really gets under my skin when people judge before they know whats going on.

Subjective, oui, I was thinking about that earlier too. I just hope they're being the most objectively possible for all of us to enjoy the show as its best.

Anyone of us could send a question about her new French album too. (Specially given the rumors that she's writing her own songs for this one). And emphasize in IF she will continue her creativeness (as mentioned on Nmj's response ) with the French one, without letting them know that we know those rumors. I think that's the best way to get another in-deep answer.

 

So which adress did you send this mail exactly? If it was to the official website, I think maybe some of the workers were fired? 'Cos that isn't usual for them to give such an answer, that quickly.

yes i think it needs a break, only thing is it sounded great with orchestra in sur plains so they will probably keep it.

to be honest.. when I bought my ticket for the Taking Chances Worldtour I had a concept in my mind, with songs like - ain't gonna look the other way and right in front of you.. well, it turned out to be a sort of New Day live on tour, almost same setlist, except the new songs which were there fortunately. And I really loved being there, since it was my first Celine concert, and it was amazing. But the A new day-show, to be honest I almost never watch that dvd, mainreason is because of different reasons that have been discussed in here as well, I prefer the taking chances tour instead!

And now she goes back to vegas, doing the same songs again?? And maybe a new dvd in 2014? with the same songs we all have heard and seen a million times before?Celine, please get more creative. It is either this or that - when you know you are going to be a fulltime mum for your 3 children, why even start a new show again? Better wait, make an amazing setlist and come back in style!

People come for Celine, not only for the same songs they have heard and seen so many times. They will still come if Celine has new things to offer. I mean, Madonna, some of her tours only focus on her new albums, but still every show is amazing and you don't miss the big hits so much, and they are still sold out every time!

Would I live somewhere near Vegas, I would really consider going there, but buying a plainticket a hotel and the expensive ticket for the show and then getting the same setlist again... okay we still don't know the official list, but since river deep mountain high is in it ( loved it this tour) i guess tpol and mhwgo and bylm, tlym will certainly be there as well. well, let's wait and see...

I liked when she sang Je T'aime Encore during the first years of AND, she should sing La Diva, we know that she likes to singing at least 1 song in french which is not a problem for any of us but she should sing a different song, maybe a song from her repertoire that she has never sang before...

I kind of even hope that DUAM and JSP are gone. I'd prefer them over SSD and certainly over PQTME, but these four songs, along with J'irai Ou Tu Iras are her only french songs she does....and Destin.
