They shouldn't have released it at all. I just ordered it and watched it for the first time today. The video quality is terrible. And some songs have such a different sound then other songs. It was a cheap concert. They should have gave us a real concert from the tour. And something from the CD tour too.

maybe vocally is not the best show, but the show has an amazing choreography, she dances, she moves.... she is full of energy

Her rendition of I Can't Help Falling In Love is unbelievable. Her vocals are in top form. That song alone is reason enough to adore this concert.

 

There is also something incredibly magical about this time in Celine's career. She was basically already a household name, but she was still so up-and-coming. Something very precious about this time.

I mean, it's the only official footage that we have from the The colour of my love Era and, eventough it's not from the tour, it's a very similar concert. And OK, almost every song in the concert was lipped, but that's because it was a TV special, not a regular concert.

 

It might not be the best Celine Dion DVD, but it's very nice, and if it had never been released, I think that we would all have no idea about how that show was or even if it ever took place.

I like TCOML dvd though I wish everything was live. I watched that dvd with a friend and for some of the songs she was like 'Um this sounds exactly like the cd version'. But other than that it's a very entertaining dvd. I absolutely love the I Can't Help Falling in Love performance and that's definitely a good performance to show any new or non celine fan because it really shows off her vocals.

That WDMHBN clip is not from the CD tour. It's from a charity benefit in 1992 for a Hurricane, which took place in July....she wasn't in Miami after that.

about this RDMH performance at Letterman...I remember reading a story somewhere about that (teh official bio - I dunno). Wasn't it short notice or something?!?!? They wanted to sing her something different, unusual not the balladish thing...that's why they came up with this one. And since it wasn't her song she propably used a teleprompter to remember the lines. And her posing it's very Tina Turner like with the arms like that standing still.

It's great to finally have some definitive proof of this. Including the actual running order. These photos (yes there are several) are a stunning set too. The whole thing makes dream all the more of a TCOML concert DVD. With amazing image gallery too.

And the photo even confirms what she had for lunch that day too!
