lllBeautifulll Posted July 2, 2012 at 01:30 PM Posted July 2, 2012 at 01:30 PM Don't know if it will be on the album but Ferland said that he wrote a second song specially for Celine (Une chance qu'on s'aime is a cover). And I guess the others "missing song" will be written by Plamondon because René said that Luc is the main master behind the album. We'll see! Quote

Frozen_Phoenix Posted July 2, 2012 at 04:59 PM Posted July 2, 2012 at 04:59 PM pass or block? rude? - he is just giving his opinion! and to be honest, and yes it is easy listening, nothing rude about admitting that;-) But now I just listened to the full version, and there is almost no difference with any of the fragments we heard first. The melody is constantly repeating and it is a very familiar and predictable melodyline. The higher pitch with the backingvocalsgives something extra to the song, but anything besides that, like some amazing vocal thing, it is not there. That said, the lyrics are beautiful. So I would say, it is a good song, but I had hoped for a WOW feeling, which is missing here. Thank you very much I like the last chorus a bit better than the rest of the song. The backingvocals make it stronger. Won't "a peux plus haut, a peux plus loin?" be on the album? I would love to have a studio version. Jeff Abbott Posted July 3, 2012 at 11:01 PM Posted July 3, 2012 at 11:01 PM (edited) that's what i remember yeah, 6 songs maybe i'm blind but WHERE can I find that interview in Le Parisien? Someone already translate that?If Plamondon is to be "the brain " behind the upcoming French album, I think he'll have bigger contribution to the album than just 1 or 2 songs and we'll be hearing more from him. I still remember him mentioning that he was offered great melodies and his job was to come up with the suitable lyrics. I'm sure he did his best to let Celine shine with these new songs. Recently, in every interview we've been told more or less something like 'a new french album = mostly plamondon + ferland + le forestier ', so Plamondon's role must be quite distinctive. Honestly, I can't remember if Plamondon was at that time presented only as the songwriter working on the album or the supervisor / cooperator / helper administering the whole recording process as well? Any ideas? If we count all the songs for the album (rumoured + confirmed) there are already 13 of them (excluding NMQP which will most probably (?) appear on the English album), so there are at least 2 places left for other compositions, which titles we don't know yet, I guess. Besides, I'm still happy about 15 new songs from Celine, if all goes as planned. Edited July 3, 2012 at 11:09 PM by Jeff Abbott Quote

Celine Fan 77 Posted July 6, 2012 at 11:27 AM Posted July 6, 2012 at 11:27 AM Exclu ! Anyone to translate? Maybe they kept the best for the last, as some other members said recently. i don't think that all the rumoured songs we've been told about will be part of the album. Instead, we're likely to get more songs authored by Plamondon (my personal opinion), which is great knowing his songwriting skills. Besides, if they stick to the idea of 15 songs on the French album ( ), there's still enough space for new compositions. By the way, is it possible that they might decide to put some bonus songs on different versions of the album made for different markets, I mean something like "French edition", "Swiss edition" or "Canadian edition"? Have they ever done anything like that when it comes to Celine's French cds? Edited July 7, 2012 at 08:05 AM by Jeff Abbott Quote
lllBeautifulll Posted July 7, 2012 at 12:11 PM Posted July 7, 2012 at 12:11 PM I agree. Celine and Luc are in really good term. Really good songs! Quote
