it's said that the EGL album will be released in Oct in weiki, but no offficial one.i jusr thought it's not the same time with the french album!

I think October would be a better time to release the English album rather than December! It would get lost in the Christmas shuffle with no AC radio airplay

Interesting art work!

Not at all interesting segment of the song.

Peace and love to all.

Remember when Rene said that Celine's upcoming French album is gonna 'surprise' her fans? I wonder what he meant by that? :hmm:
Posted

The surpise is there is no surprise. :)

No... but it's too early to tell. But maybe it's the art work then? I mean, we shouldn't expect too much. Things have been exaggerated in the past.

Peace and love to all.

When I hear René saying something like that, I start to shake :fear:  Remember what he told about "A Song For You" for the TC album?? I totally fear him for the concept he has of "surprise" :ermm:

^ What did he say about A Song For You?

ASFY was 'supposedly' the true gem recorded for TC album, or something like that. :whistling:

The best song in the TC album, "the jewel in the dessert" (of Las Vegas) I think he called it :whistling:

yes beautiful song ,like it very much

I agree. Song For You is gorgeous. One of my favorites on the album.

The album will be released on Monday November 5th (celinedion.com)

In cased you wanted to update the title.

a song for you is a pretty song, but her vocal performance is one of her worst imo. she sounds so awkward and strange and nasal...like probably the most nasal she's ever been on a studio track

when she sings "and I was singing...this...song..for..you" she sounds like "and I was SIIIGGGHINNGGG" with her nose plugged up

Posted
wait so it's pretty much a sure thing that the french album is coming out first? :/ will we not get the english album until december then? oy i was so hoping the english single would come out soon
Posted

omg i completely agree with everything you just said about a song for you hahaha and i hate it because of the way she sounds on it -

appologies ifm theres already a topica bout this but the new singles artwork is gorgeous!

I think a very very old jewel in this case...

Dont worry, this person is just rude tonight :) let it pass or block lol

kev x

pass or block? rude? - he is just giving his opinion! and to be honest, and yes it is easy listening,

nothing rude about admitting that;-)

But now I just listened to the full version, and there is almost no difference with any of the fragments we heard first.

The melody is constantly repeating and it is a very familiar and predictable melodyline. The higher pitch with the backingvocals

gives something extra to the song, but anything besides that, like some amazing vocal thing, it is not there.

That said, the lyrics are beautiful.

So I would say, it is a good song, but I had hoped for a WOW feeling, which is missing here.

Parler à mon père

Tant Le Temps (with Henri Salvador)

Moi Quand Je Pleure

I wonder why they still don't mention any songs Luc Plamandon wrote... maybe they are still working on them?? Or saving the best for last? :hmm:

Thanks for that scoop Davey!!

I like the sound of the last two songs on the list, not so happy about La Mère et L'Enfant, just from the title, but after Miracle I have an aversion to anymore songs about motherhood.
