But what I don't get is the sudden out of the blue targeting of this track. I mean, it's an ok track, but surely isn't IWYTNM (from the same era, same album + released as a single) somewhat better? I would really like to see I Want You To Need Me performed live, backed up by an orchestra of many strings. I know the song may not be too good for her voice to sing every night. But it could surely be re-arranged so that the refrain could be sung softer in all refrains but the last one. I think it could turn out really good! /fred Quote Peace and love to all.

It's been said time and time again on this forum in various threads that the song should be performed. As for "I Want You To Need Me," I personally hope to God this song isn't performed. She practically screams through the entire piece. To me it's one of her more un-listenable English tracks. Quote

Very few of her songs have that note after note, huge punch bang bang....etc... Most of her songs have a short climax and that's it. This song has crazy belts the whole way through. Quote

She definitely likes singing The Queen's songs: River Deep, Mountain High, Simply the Best. And it would be the perfect choice to open the Bond tribute. I want "The Best" in her show I think that would be awesome for an entrance song, acompanied with the orchestra playing all of her songs in a medley and then the stage goes black and you hear the first beat of "The Best" and she's out on the stage showing her wonderful legs. "Goldeneye" would also be a good song especially with the orchestra and if she does have any dancers which I kinda hope she doesn't they could most likely do something pretty awesome. But I want "River Deep Mountain High," out of the show it's a nice tribute but it's a hard song and in A New Day it just didn't have that gut wrenching feeling but the Taking Chances Tour rendition was a heck of a lot better. They said it didn't have a good "live sound" to it, but I felt that it was performed great and had this amazing "intimate" or "personal" connection with Celine and the audience. It had a crappy arrangement, it was shortened, and Celine obviously didn't take the time to learn the lyrics as she turned it into another LCMM/IA nightmare where she talked gibberish through most of it. Outside of that, DROP "Love can move mountains" and replace it with another of her uptempo 'hits' such as "Misled"; It charted higher than Love Can Move Mountains did, but she never sings it. Re-introduce it. "If you asked me to" was another huge hit for her and she hasnt done it in over 10 years. Bring back "Beauty and the Beast" ......and what about "Nothing Broken But my Heart?" for her 'hits' i'd leave the four staples and add "If you asked me to", "Nothing Broken But My Heart" and "Misled" Quote

I know she's sung these since the Falling Into You album and I imagine in Vegas it would have got tiring to sing the full song. But I have so many fond memories with BYLM, MHWGO is my favorite because it describes my grandparents relationship perfectly. Then the power of love is fine I actually prefer it in the shortened version, I'm open for anything but LCMM, TLYM, RDMH can definatley go as for I drove all night it's kinda a guilty pleasure for me, and it's one of Celine's best known up tempo song just because it was through Vegas and T.C. tour.
