Would sound amazing with the orchestea. The reason i go on is my fav of TC. so yes! in his touch is pretty good too, i had a phase with it similar with the one i have with ISSW right now. lol Quote

It makes it feel more like the Premiere of a new show, when you have very little knowledge of what to expect. OK, it would lead to some disappointments on the night when you realise that something you hoped would be gone is still there, but it will hopefully also mean that we get plenty of lovely surprises too. No real knowledge of what the style of the show will be, what the visuals will incorporate, how the orchestra and band will be presented. All adds to the air of anticipation.You're totally right John! The strange thing is, though, I really have no expectations whatsoever regarding the track list. I'm just so overexcited about the whole thing - it's eating me up inside. We already know that there'll be a James Bond theme medley, but don't forget that Barbra gave us a lot of hits from her movies. Just a few mentions: Don't rain on my parade and People from "Funny girl", The way we were, Evegreen from "A star is born", The main event/Fight, Papa can you hear me? and A piece of sky from "Yentl", I finally found someone from "A mirror has two faces" (that Céline already performed at Oscars 1997). I think that Don't rain on my parade would fit perfectly in a LV show, as well as a medley of The way we were/Evergreen/A piece of sky would be very emotional and ideal considering the power of her voice. It is indeed a beautiful song and I get why she's including it (a tribute to her sons), but I'm having trouble imagining how it's going to fit in flawlessly without feeling "shoehorned". I guess I'll find out how I ultimately feel in about 3 weeks! Quote

She is doing 25 songs.. so maybe we'll see some of these for sure and yeah the MJ thing seems a bit off for her.. but remember the Queen songs from the TC tour.. remember the Bee Gees medley from the LTAL tour.. and a few other non celine songs from a A New day. I remeber taking to Darren a while ago how cool it would be for celine to sing 007 songs! but i do find it rather funny and predictable. Throughout school i had the change to see a few orchestras, and everytime i saw one, they did a medely of james bond haha i LOVE the idea and im excited about it, but very predictable! kev x Quote

Oh!! Only One Road is really a good pick! So neglected (like all other songs except the obvious boring picks) and this really is her own My Way. Seriously.... "I'm looking back through the years, down this highway..." And I don't have anything against HYEBIL. I don't see the need for criticism this song tend to get by hard core fans.
