I know she said she's going to be doing some of her hits too, and therefore since these hits were not performed in the last 7 years I really think they would go over well and even re-introduce old fans and news alike:

 

"Nothing Broken But My Heart"---when was the last time this was done live??? a #1 AC hit in the United States.

 

"Don't let me be the last to know"--a classic "Unison" track!

 

"If you asked me to"- Really big fan favorite and not done in ages! Top 5 Hot 100 Billboard smash

"Call the man"-need I say more?

 

"Immortality"--onscreen duet with the Bee Gees would be great visual! A fan favorite and huge hit in Europe

I was just wondering how ticket sales are going right now. I know it must have slacked off quite drastically since the sale started...with not that much promotion happening other than mentioned occasionally with baby news and we basically still know not that much about it, I can't see sales being so great right now.

I'm not surprised. There has been no promotion and that show is only in July.

 

It will be so great to see the commercials for this once they've had dress rehearsals..

The tickets are just SOOOO expensive tho I thought they were last time, but for the first 4 or 5 rows to be even more pricey i just feel like If i go, i'll be very surprised if i'm near the front - unlike the times in vegas before, where i was 1st, 3rd, and 4th row. Can't see that happening again

What are the prices for the front/center rows? I bought a ticket the day after they went on sale for fan club members and the closest seat available was 8th row/center. Even on the first day they went on sale the only seats available for fan club members was 7th row/center! Has anyone been able to buy a closer center seat?

I think so. But only through the VIP packages. Nobody has front row tickets.

Whilst I dont see the show struggling to sell out at all I do think they need to push the unique selling point a bit more in their promotion.

 

Yes there will be an orchestra and Celine will sing movie songs but what MORE will entice the general public back to see Celine in Vegas? Lot's of people will naturally assume it's the same show as there hasn't really been any hype about the new show or any specific details about it.

 

Of course we, as fans, know different but are the general public getting the message about the new show?

I found some on Ticketmaster the weekend AFTER spring break which is good because it's off season and the airline tickets would be cheaper

So here's my dilemma my mom is getting me the tix but see she doesn't like getting things till a month prior cause things never go the way we plan so she doesn't want to have to cancel. So I asked her when she plans on getting tix and she said well we'd be going in June so next May and I said well they'll be sold out she said doesn't matter the hotels always have tickets to the shows (she's been to Vegas twice) but I'm still hesitant and I dunno what to do I feel like I can't change her mind. Not that if they are sold out I'll never see her there's always 2012 but I don't think I can wait that long so I don't wanna miss my chance. That's not off topic.

 

It is true that you can usually get tickets to shows at the last minute from the hotels, but not always the top shows like Celine and Cirque du Soleil.

I know from experience that the Box Office always keeps a few tickets to the very last minute mostly for high rollers or any problems they may have.

That would be really risky though.

 

I don't think you need to push it right now, but as soon as they start publisizing the show, then you might have to.

It's not like last time when she was doing over 200 shows a years. There's fewer shows and the marketing team will use that to push ticket sales.

haha I understand what you mean! My dad just told me now that he wants to come too so we may push it up to March since his work doesn't permit him to leave in summer it's the busiest time for him so now I'm even more confused. But thank you for the advice

I heard on the radio this morning on the way to work that Madonna has been offered to share the Colosseum stage with Celine in a 5 year residency with Harrahs Group...

 

I'm guessing its when Cher finishes right ( if Madonna does agree to it ofcourse ).
