Hi, new informations coming from a Montreal radio station where Rene was interviewed for the release of the DVDs. He said that most of the songs are chosen, there is a deal with Warner Brothers to use music from over 8 000 movies and the best for the last... The show will use advance technology, they are looking to use 3D and holograms, Rene said they always have to be better than the previous show !

Please no oldies from the MGM era, unless they're timeless. "Meet Me in St. Louis" is so 1900s (even though the movie was made in 1944). However, something like "The Boy Next Door" would be fantastic to show off her mid range. "The Man That Got Away" from A STAR IS BORN would be fantastic, but it's already been done by so many greats.

Tickets for the show? They are on sale allready, so if you want decent places you should buy the tickets sooner then later.

 

If you are looking for airline tickets, hotel stays, etc... Just watch the websites of your airlines and hotels of choice closely and maybe some interesting fares will pop up, don't forget to check the different brokers also since they have sometimes also very decent fares... Airlinetickets will become available at 330 days before your returndate, hotels will publish fares arround the same time, sometimes a bit earlier.

Bueno para encontrar buenos precios lo mejor es comprar por internet, pero tenés que tener una tarjeta de crédito. Los tiquetes del concierto los podes comprar ya sea en ticketmaster.com y seleccionar la opción de "Will Call" (eso quiere decir que te los dan en la boletería del Caesar's Palace cuando llegues, también los podes comprar en el vegas.com pero ahí no te dan el numero de asiento de una vez, si no que cuando lo llegues a retirar ellos te lo asignan.

 

Para comprar los tiquetes de avión, webistes como expedia.com y travelocity.com tienen muy buenas ofertas, ahí también podes encontrar hoteles y algunos otros paquetes. también para hoteles esta el website de hotels.com o hoteles.com los cuales también ofrecen buenas ofertas en paquetes de hotel.

 

A veces las agencias de viajes cobran un porcentaje por el servicio entonces lo que te venden no te sale tan barato como si lo compras vos mismo por internet.

Thanks we prob already know where were going to stay problem is my parents are buying the tickets for my birthday and they typically don't like buying tickets until it's closer to the show date when it comes to traveling. Well I'll let them know to keep their eye on Ticketmaster and book soon!

Cameras weren't allowed the first time. You had to walk through a detector and your bags were searched. Not many people risked recording/taking pics as there were so many people about - bodyguards and staff etc.

I emailed Caesars this weekend about that cos i want to go later next year too! They said Celine will be doing more shows after August but no dates have been confirmed. I think they're waiting until the babies are here - and maybe even nearer the start of the show to announce more dates. If i here anything though, i'll let you know.

Personally I wouldn't expect that many shows between August and December. She's only contracted to do 70 shows a year remember and as things stand just now she's doing 54 shows between March and August next year meaning there are only 16 dates yet to be announced for 2011.
