I've been in contact with one of the ladies there. She asked if I wanted to skype. I thought about it but decided that I had already had my moment on the AND DVD so I would let someone else have their turn. She has just been asking questions about other fans, the forum and Celine. She especially wanted info from other South African fans, who she is contacting today.

Just to let you all know all 14 of us are all friends. We just happen to all be girls who love Celine...which is how we all met.

We have just been given tickets to the show, nothing else. We are all paying for ourselves, so Oprah isn't technically 'sending' us to the show, we are just really lucky to have tickets. We have been dreaming about this for a while now, so even though it has ended up costing us a lot it doesn't matter as we'll all be together in the end.

We are all so excited not only for the show, but to see each other! We have not all seen each other for so long.

 

We have all received numerous messages, some being not so nice. I don't understand why some people can't be happy for us

Haha im waiting by the phone still hoping, dreaming and praying that i get a call. The phone rang like 20 minutes ago, i started screaming...lol it was only my grandma. haha. I've been doing that since friday tho.

I dont think they are going to contact anyone to be at the show, i think they would have done that already ...but if they did, i would either drive 9 hours to get to her, or get a last minute flight. lol

But im thinking, the more i want it to happen, it wont..lol.

lol i feel the same way!!! Driving for me would be 9 hours, but i'd prob try to get a flight out. if i drove, i would be listening to " i drove all night" and then i could really say " i drove all night to get to you!" haha.

Im supposed to be doing my essays right now, but i just cant....my mind just can stop thinking and dreaming that they will call! lol. Its soooooo frustrating...cuz when u want it so bad, they always say it will happen right? lol...

the weirdest thing was that friday was my mom's birthday and i was hoping for that day, but even before i knew celine was going to be on oprah, the night before i had this strange dream that i was flying somewhere and then i went into this room and celine was there, and i just remmeber in my dream talking to her. Isnt that weird? lol then when i found out about oprah, i thought to myself..omg my dream!!! but i guess maybe that dream will be another time ..lol

I'm very happy for everyone who gets to attend the taping! I live an hour south of Chicago and entered for a chance to get tickets, but I highly doubt I will be contacted because I attended an Oprah taping already this year. (Go figure!)

 

As for those who are asking for people to find out when the show will air, they don't announce that at the taping. Unless Oprah says something to acknowledge what day it is. For example, I went to a taping on August 27 that was set to air on September 11, so Oprah acknowledged the terrorist attacks at the beginning of the taping. At the afternoon show (yes, I was lucky enough to attend TWO tapings in one day!) an audience member asked the woman doing the "warm up" before the taping started if she knew when the show would air. She said she didn't have that information and to keep checking the website. Just a heads-up!
