According to "Le Journal du Montreal" (2010-02-06) the film lasts 1:53 min.

 

In May it will be shown in France and other European cities.

 

In February it will be shown in USA, Canada, Japan, UK, Australia and South Africa.

 

The DVD will last 3 hours - both film and dvd are produced by Julie Snyder.

I don't like the sound of that. Why would they show the dvd in May in Europe if its being released in May?? Please don't tell me its being put back AGAIN!!!

In this article they don't talk about the DVD and/or its release exactly. The only recount how this movie came about. It says that Stéphane Laporte said he was working at the beginning on a 3 hour DVD and that he was asked to transform it in a 1:53 hour movie for theaters after René watched it last June. A three hour DVD that, through the hand of René Angélil, became a movie that will be shown around the world. René Angélil is the world best manager said Julie. So when he says he has a treasure in his hands, it's sure it won't be left in drawers. I don't know if this last french expression can be translated like this or not in english but anyways I think you'll understand what it meant. So it's a pretty long and interesting article but there is no news about an upcoming DVD in it.

I've been looking everywhere and I can't seem to find the movie playing in Scotland anywhere, ideally Glasgow.

Am I missing somewhere? Does anyone have any information?

Not from Scotland, I'm From Teesside Though aand apparentl all Odeon and Cineworld Cinemas In the UK Will Be Screening It. Apparently Tickets Go On Sale Tuesday :/ That's what i Heard Anyway.

its finally up on our theater website! No showtimes yet but they list an advance site to buy them online yet when you click it they say showtimes aren't avaliable I'm going down tuesday during my break and see if I can buy tickets in advance yet. If not I'll go down the day they do start selling them.

I don't know ; when the endresult is so stunning as we have seen on the trailer and the clips, I don't know if they really release the rest of the material too. I hope so it will be....wish they gave a bit more information :-S

The only place to have it confirmed so far is Vue Cinema in Edinburgh on 22nd Feb at 8:30pm.

 

However Cineworld are meant to be releasing locations for the film to be shown tomorrow and Odeon will follow later this week.

The cinema chain "REEL" seem to be showing it also. That's good, because the Vue nearest me (10 minutes away peoiple!!) isn't showing it, so in the area I have Odeon, the closeest after the Vue, then Reel.

 

So ATM I'm still hoding out for the Odeon.

I called the theater here just a few minutes ago that's showing the movie and the guy who answered hadn't even heard of the movie! He had NO clue what I was talking about. I called to see if tickets could be purchased in advance yet and had to explain to him it was on the theaters website(the theater he works at) and they said you could buy tickets in advance. Well he said that if its on the site and says you can buy them in advance you can. Then I ask if I could buy them there at the ticket window. He said yes. So I'm going to make a trip down tomorrow while I'm on campus and see if I can get two tickets. If not I'll go another day. Maybe opening day, then maybe I can get them for the first weekend showing. so, I was thinking, it would be really nice if all the ppl who are seeing the movie in London would get together! I'd be more than happy to organise something, if enough ppl are interested! I do not think it will be in Belfast either. The Strand is advertising it but the lady told me that they just get a list of all movies, so it may not show there at all. Darren however spoke to the Stand and they told him they might get it, can confirm on Wednesday. Praying here!
