I think many tissues will be required when I see this movie...........out of interest though, is anyone going to see it in Belfast, i'm organising a whole crowd of people to go see the movie and maybe a post screening party if anyone wants to join! Her voice is nasally at the start (as I expected) but the high notes definately make up for it!! And I like how they haven't autotuned everything, like her voice sounds weaker at 4:11 and I love the rougher-voiced ending!! It just makes the movie more genuine. Im wondering if this All By Myself performance will be used in the movie in relation to the clip we've seen before where we saw her backstage and upset that she wasnt feeling well - as an alternative to showing the more polished clip of All By Myself we have seen from the tour. Who knows - time will tell. Not saying that I think its a bad version of the song, I think its amazing. Sounds so good blasted through a set of headphones even the 100th time around. hahaha. Quote

The new ABM video (shown on the Michel Jasmin interview and the new TTEOTW preview) is from Montreal, where she wasn't sick. I hope they don't use this as the 'sick' performance, as they would be lying to everyone, making it seem that Celien is usually better than this, when in fact this was better than some of her 90s performances (apart from the nasal voice). If they HAVE to show an ABM performance in relation to the whole sickness, they're better off using that raw vocal clip they showed on Star Academie last year, where people thought it was live cos there was no echo at all and there was a crack in her voice during the high note, even though it appears on the playback (people usually don't hear it with all the echo etc in concert). Also she looked ill in that Phoenix video (or wherever it was recorded). Quote

I agree with you: it would be wrong if that is the case (and I don't know why I have a feeling that it is the clip they used for the sick bit). She does sound better at times in this video than some of her performances of years ago... She also looks pretty healthy in that clip, whereas she looked all feverish and suff on the clip they showed on SA. You could see in her eyes that she was not feeling well that day...
