Lou555 Posted January 11, 2010 at 03:06 AM Posted January 11, 2010 at 03:06 AM (edited) He practices in the hotel room(Céline being on tour) because there was no backyard. I don't think he usually does that in the house when at home either....or maybe he does I don't know.I'm sure there was a driving range or park where he could practice. I would hope he doesn't practice in a house, so many expensive things to break. Apparently René-Charles and René went golfing together many times during the tour. RC is passionate about golf also. After a couple of times I think Céline stopped going because it wasn't good for her voice cuz of allergies or something. Hopefully we will get a chance to see a little bit of their swing in the movie. Edited January 11, 2010 at 03:14 AM by Lou555 Quote

SvetlanaSav Posted January 11, 2010 at 10:28 AM Posted January 11, 2010 at 10:28 AM I live in Russia and you know this movie will not show in our theaters. It's so sadly and dishonest. I understand that many serious record- and movie-companies think that we have a continuous piracy in Russia. and they think they will can lost their money. But it is not absolutely true. I've never buy unlegal production and my friends too. And I'd go see this movie. I hope DVD will be release and I can buy it. Quote

Claudette Posted January 11, 2010 at 09:22 PM Posted January 11, 2010 at 09:22 PM (edited) I think she is sensitive for pollen and dust. Seeing that you play golf outside on grass, I would say it can be a problem. The pollen that comes from grass is a real pest. You have to remember that Celine has asthma, so the slightest trigger can cause her to have her an allergic reaction and it can lead to an asthma attack. I don't think it has an effect on her voice directly. But it is obviously difficult to sing if you have breathing troubles. There are loads of pics in the tourbook (and even in the trailer of the movie) where you see her with a face mask connected to a nebulizer. I think she uses it before shows to prevent her from having an asthma attact (not sure on this though). By the way, having hayfever doesn't mean that you can never go outside. I realise that, I just thought for a singer, its better not to irritate it! I knew she had asthma, but what you described is hayfever and I never knew she had that too, she's never said! Makes sense that it could irritate her asthma though, didn't think of that. I guess she learned the hard way when she had a few breathing problems because of it in Vegas and had to cancel shows. You're right, not the best thing for a singer! I do think she handles it very well though, when you say to people that she has Asthma they are always suprised because of the amount she runs around the stage while singing, never missing a beat, and hold those incredible notes. I think she once did. From ''For Keeps'': Once, she had an asthma attack compounded by a panic attack onstage. ''I was in Los Angeles on the most polluted day of the year. I sang there, then took a plane back, and I rushed here and was onstage in twenty minutes. I was nervous because I was dehydrated. I started to breath faster, and the faster I was breathing, the more dehydration I felt. The more I pushed, the more I was out of breath.'' She exited stage right after ''Seduces Me'' and dropped to the floor. She cooled down and tried to sing more, but after six songs, she couldn't go on. ''I dropped on my knees, and they had to open my dress. I was having oxygen in the back room, and the EMT workers and my doctor were here.''
