Just looking at some posts on the other pages, does this mean they've changed their mind again and it's only going to be shown seven to eight times in only what they consider "major" cities? If they do that I will be so mad, there's no way I could go if its shown in LA, Montreal or anywhere else. None of those places are close enough to me and no way would anyone travel with me to see a tour movie about Celine Dion. My friend was already saying she wouldn't go with me unless I went to see the runaways movie with her and I don't want to see it. It's not my type of music, but Celine isn't her type either. She said I could go by myself if I didn't go see the runaways with her

I don't think Céline ever cancelled a show for having a simple cold or a benign diseases. I think she has perform sick very often throught the years. I also think she gets all the shots required to travel the world. But travelling around the world or singning in the desert is demanding for any healthy person. She's a human being just like us and can get sick sometimes unfortunately, eventhough she's always been very careful. Labyrintite, Asthma, hernia surgery, unsual virus caught touring, fever, reflux, breathing or voice problems and ...., I don't think those have anything to do with kissing her fans or being a warm human being.

well i wasnt concerned about the common man or woman , i really was referring to Celine only, a person of her postion who has to meet alot of obligations involving hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars for concert performances etc. i hope u get it

You can't live your life that way, being afraid of germs. She kissed me on the cheek when I saw her on the tour! (By the way, I did not have cooties. ) She lives in the moment & I love that about her.

slight concern- obviously we'll go if possible, but do you think there are enough people who would actually go to the cinema to see this? It's a different type of event. I just can't imagine alot of people saying ''oh, let's go to the movies to see Celine Dion''. I don't mean to sound negative.

When AND was shown in theaters like this, It showed in ATL, GA and the theater was full - a nice big theater - and everyone clapped and reacted almost like it was a real show...

why only 8 days?

 

Because a release like this really does not warrant a long-term release like many big-budget movies that will also be showing. While this is SO appealing to Celine's fans, it may or may not appeal to the general public. Therefore, to do as well as it can, a short-term release is better. Yes, it means fewer showings for fans but it also means that each night we can plan to pack our theathers full of Celine fans! WE ARE GOING TO ROCK THE HOUSE!

There is a Taking Chances tour DVD coming out but nothing has been said officialy about it. Maybe it will include this documentary. Who knows.
