I just want to ask, why do they say EVERYWHERE if it's only going to be shown in America? Oh well think of it this way guys, if it's only for eight showns maybe the DVD will be out sooner rather than later

I'm not holding my breath for the DVD anymore. I have a feeling that it will just be another dissapointment like this documentary... I don't get what the point of this movie is, if only a few people can see it...

 

By the way, the people in the French section are absolutely thrilled that this will not be shown in France... I assume because according to them this will not be good for her image. I seriously don't get some people!

Can someone confirm that this release will NOT keep Sony from releasing the FULL concert DVDs as they announced they would? BTW I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE THIS!!!!

 

By the way, its 8 shows shown in MANY different cities on the same dates. Just like they did for A New Day when they put it in theatres!

I've been speaking to Sony UK and Sony Pictures UK/U.S about this for a while, so fingers crossed it works out, for fans on this side of the globe to get the same priviledge of seeing this amazing film doc. in cinema's here also.

I know people are gonna say that I'm whining... but what about other countries, like SA, Australia and Japan, she visited those counties too, not just America and the UK... Considering that most of those footage in the trailer are from her visit in SA, I think it is totally unfair...

I hope that it can be shown worldwide for you guys! You're right, it's not fair! She's an INTERNATIONAL superstar! And it was a worldwide tour. So we have until February to get it shown worldwide. How do we do that? Haha I'm up for the challenge, or to at least try something to get it shown in even one city theatre in at least all the countries she visited. I mean, that can't be asking toooooooo awfully much right? They would have to work on subtitles I spose. Hmmm. There's gotta be some way to convince whomever to do this! The extracts where she's crying are from mexico. She cried because it was a bit dangerous for them to be there. Nick told her all facts about the sejour and she was shocked i think.

Thanks for replying. Still don't get the whole Mexico thing... I guess I wil have too wait and see what that was about. But I don't think I've ever seen someone get all teary eyed as easily as Celine... I like the fact that she is not afraid to show all her emotions, it is very rare...

I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but I don't think it will even show in Canada. Check this out:

 

For the USA: http://www.sonypictures.com/ (look at the ''coming soon'' list), while for Canada: http://www.sonypictures.ca/english/ (no Celine). What I don't get is: why is the Kenny one showing in Canada? The only thing that I can think is: they still have not updated everything.

 

Bubba, you are right. In my opinion the title is also totally stupid if they are not even interested in showing it to the world!
