Edwin Posted August 8, 2009 at 07:46 PM Posted August 8, 2009 at 07:46 PM Just saw Taking of Phelam 123. It was a 3/5 stars for me. Nothing special. Denzel and John have played these types of roles in the past. The plot isn't anything we haven't seen before (and yes I know it's a remake) As far as My Sisters Keepers, that's on my list too. I think Abigail Breslin is a very good actress and she WAS Little Miss Sunshine. Quote

Edwin Posted August 13, 2009 at 04:04 AM Posted August 13, 2009 at 04:04 AM The Boy In The Striped Pajamas Bruno is an eight-year-old German boy who leads a rather comfortable life in Berlin during the World War II. His father is a high ranking Nazi SS officer, but things change when the family has to move due to his father’s new post. In his innocence, Bruno sees the nearby concentration camp as a "farm" and wonders why its inhabitants are always wearing striped pajamas. Eventually Bruno becomes friends with a Jewish boy his own age who lives on the other side of the fence Quote
Belle Céline Posted August 13, 2009 at 03:18 PM Posted August 13, 2009 at 03:18 PM The boy in the striped pajama's was a suprisingly short movie, I watched it and it seemed like I blinked and it was over. I won't say anything about it because I don't want to give anything away. Quote “There’s nothing I love more than the romance of a night in the theater.”http://i39.tinypic.com/ws0due.png

Davey84 Posted August 26, 2009 at 08:46 PM Posted August 26, 2009 at 08:46 PM Oke this isn't a movie, but a mini series; Petits Meurtres en Famille (A Family Murder Party) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0459579/ It's a french Mini Serie (duh LOL) and based on Agatha Christie's A Christmas Party with Poirot. It's set in 1939, at the before day old Simon Trescou celebrates his 70th birthday, on which he wants to announce something to his childern. But on his birthday he is murdered... who did it? and why? but mostly... who will follow?! It was really brilliant!! the ending was totally unexpected! Plus it had two cutie pies in it Marius Colucci & Alexis Michalik AND It's in french, so what more could you want?
