Love, Posted August 4, 2009 at 07:37 PM Posted August 4, 2009 at 07:37 PM (edited) In a recent magazine interview, I was asked to select three must-see films. It was the hardest question anyone has asked me, since I curate films on a daily basis, and have reviewed thousands of films. I did give a mix of commercial, foreign, and art-house. My recommendation for anyone who love cinema is to read updates on Indiewire and Hollywood Reporter. Being bored beyond belief, I thought we could have a little movie-emercgency-central.. sort of like the "must have albums" thread. Share your tips or favourites: the title, perhaps a mention of what genre it is and a small text of what it's about (alt. a link to imdb.com) So, what should we all see before we (I) die (of boredom)? You should attend the Stockholm International Film Festival. I'll be flying into Sweden to attend it either in 2010 or 2011. Edited August 4, 2009 at 07:40 PM by Love, Quote

I know a guy who ate some and thought someone was running after him on the second floor and he ran out... from the balcony and dropped down. Not a pretty picture there. He totally ruined his legs. He can walk but he will always be in pain. Quote

Frida Posted August 4, 2009 at 09:19 PM Author Posted August 4, 2009 at 09:19 PM Bröderna Lejonhjärta.. very, very popular here, not sure if you know about it? 9-year old Karl Lejon, 'Skorpan' is suffering from tuberculosis and knows that he will die soon. But his older brother Jonathan tries to comfort him by promising that they one day will meet in Nangijala, a magic country beyond the stars. Jonathan dies in a house fire and Skorpan also dies not long after. They meet in Nangijala, a country divided into the Cherry Blossom Valley and the Briar-Bush Valley. The people in the later are oppressed by the black knight Tengil and his dragon Katla.
