Lara Fabian's letter to Celine

As much as I love Celine, I have to second that...and the grammy pix of Celine, she wasn't standing on the piano, there was indeed a stair-case behind the piano. And I personally think saying Lara is "obsessed with Celine...wants to live Celines life...constantly copied Celine" is kinda a bit far. It is always sad seeing anyone being accused with accusation that somehow mixed in with our own imagination or interpretation which may not actually be true in reality.

 

Imagine back in 1997, going into a Barbra Streisand forum, and seeing Barbra fans saying "oh please, we don't need a Barbra-Celine duet, Celine simply wants to be Barbra, have a career as successful as Barbra....and how dare Sony calls Celine the next Barbra or the Barbra of the 90s!!!"

You forgot to mention that Lara AND Céline have no sense of style AT all.

I mean, they wear a lot of the same kinda clothes.

Sometimes Lara before Céline and sometimes Céline before Lara.

Such a shame Lara gets trashed in this topic.

Maybe she should have dissed Céline?

 

Lara pays tribute to a lot of English-singing stars on her new album "All the woman in me".

Guess she'll get trashed now by fans of Bette Midler, Barbra Streisand, Annie Lennox and others.

I would like to tell about this theme much. That that Lara doesn't go mad on Celine as some wrote. She simply respects her. Lara the second never wanted to be Celine. Especially to receive public relations at the expense of it. Lara Fabian doesn't love public relations courses if she wanted to be too popular, it would become. Simply she didn't aspire to it. How many time Lara said that sings as a hobby. But nevertheless became the prima donna, isn't worse Celine)

 

But me stirs a language barrier. I am afraid that me won't understand. I from Russia. Lara and Celine absolutely different, aren't similar on each other neither appearance, nor a voice especially. Two surprising singers who always compare. And they suffer from it. They met once, Celine has asked Lara: "Why all think, what we competitors?" Lara has answered: "the Main thing we know that it not so". So all those arguments, which people resulted that Lara copies Celine, I think, are senseless.))

I'm shaking my head in disbelief looking at these pictures. I've been aware for over ten years how LF tried to copy Celine. But these photos suggest something more than an obsession with her. It's just plain SICK. RUN Celine, RUNNNNNN.....

But i thought i was going to find the pics of the moment that shocked me the most... But i didnt see it in them.

 

Remember when Celine did her Falling Into You world tour, she wore white pants and a white blazer? A year or 2 later Lara wore the exact same outfit for her concerts. And remember the way celine squats down during Misled live a Paris? Lara did the exact same moves during that same concert with the white outfit.

Its been a long long long time since ive seen that footage but i know it exists.... Im surei didnt dream about this, i hope Lol

At many executors movements are similar. Lara has taken only style Celine. It was the beginning of career (activity). It tried to find herself. Now, ten more years back. Lara has found own style and destination. Nobody imitates. And Celine simply loves.

Yes, it is complex to me to overpersuade you. It is your choice how to think about Lara. I simply do not understand, why it so attack much. And whence this hatred? She lived in Quebec for some time then she also started to sing in English like Celine. Lara also sang the songs from Star Mania (songs from the 'Dion chante Plamondon' album). All of that is not just coincidence, right..?
